Killzone 2 the Halo killer? I'm confused.

I can't believe I'm actually defending M$, but something needs to be said. Why have the Cows dubbed Killzone 2 as the Halo killer? The sales show that it sells like **** in comparison to Halo 3. The critics here at Gamespot have also scored Halo 3 higher than Killzone 2. Am I missing something here? Seems like Halo is alive and well, and Killzone 2 is just in the shadow of Halo 3's success.

To be fair, not alot of Cows here hyped KZ2 as a 'halo-killer'. I think that term was automatically carried over from KZ2's predecessor, nothing more.

Oooooh. This is a nice way to start a 20 page topic. Cows will say they never said it, which they really didn't (a few did, but it was hardly the majority) and the lems will rightly defend Halo's deserved top ranking status.

think realisticly, what games actually DO outsell halo? wiifit? wiisports? big list there

i doubt anyone with any sort of knowledge on the topic ACTUALLY thought killzone was going to sell 8 million copies

Wasn't the Halo killer title given to the first Killzone game?

I don't think KZ2 was said to be a Halo killer. KZ2 really hasn't done anything. For how much hype the game had it turned out mediocre.

its better in everyway except casual'ness. everyone and thier mom has a halo game. how do sales make a game better'? they dont
