killzone 2 vs crysis (no 56kers!)

There's the reason why Crysis wasn't ported to consoles. And I'm sure even with a 7800GTX you could play it on medium at 720p and it'll still own Killzone 2. :roll:

i found a config for 768mb ram, ghz processor, geforce 6200. that is much weaker than a ps3 in everything except ram. it aint pretty.

I like the animations in KZ2. But, I found the distance between opposing forces a little too close when outdoors. It could be just me though.

2 GB of RAM and a E6300 tho. that had a 2MB L2 cache I think. Overclocked it to 2.8 from 1.86 or whatever. it was rough.

hell, now I have a E8400 @ stock 3.0 with double the L2 cache, 4GB of RAM, and a 4850 and 720p with 4xAA on very high I struggle to get 30. I normally play on high without the AA....but I turn it up sometime.....cuz it's crysis.

I think i solved crysis :shock: I was looking at the ultra low config files and decided to try them for the heck of it. I forgot that i had some other mods installed.

The result was something that looked very very nice that ran at 40fps.

So this is what you get if you mix:Ultra Low Configuration Files - 1.0,Luxus Silentiumr, Natural Mod, Xigmatek's partile mod

took some very high DX10, 4xAA shots. around 30 fps for each.

Crysis > Real life >>> KZ2, but thats jut my opinion. You can clearly see Crysis has better lighting than real life, it just fails sometimes ya know.

People, you should stop posting pics of KZ2 and trying to compare it to Crysis, because no screenshot does justice to KZ2. If you compare screenshots only, Crysis wins by default because it has better character models and textures. KZ2's textures and models are no better than MW2's really. But when you actually play the game, and see all those lighting, animations, enviromental effects, physics, you see that KZ2 can stand against both Crysis and UC2.

Naysayers who haven't played KZ2 - at least check some HD videos of the game. I agree that most of the KZ2's screenshots look like turds, but in motion is certainly the console graphics king.
