I don't think that alI COD4 fans will "flock" to Killzone 2, but I do think that there will be a good amount of COD4 fans, maybe a million including myself, that may purchase Killzone 2. To those who are having trouble seeing the similarities between K2 and COD4. I think it has to do with the gamplay and button layout . I've notice a few people complaining about the use of noob tactics in COD4. Let me add my list of complaints: For 1 the worst weapon has to be the noobtube aka Grenade Launcher, specially if you're playing hardcore Search & Destroy(my favorite mode in COD4 ). What pisses me off is how this is used in S&D; only a noob would shoot noobtubes at the start of the match from one's spawning point to the opponents' spawning point. That is by far the worst tactic of them all. Then comes the martydom, but in all honesty it's not that hard to escape it, you can also use it to your advantage by throwing it back. Anyway I'm not one to use these tactics, they're shameful.
I think Killzone 2 is going to sell huge because A LOT of COD gamers will be flocking to the game.. Everytime I play COD online on PS3, i always here a lot of people talking about Killzone 2 and some even say that they wont even go back to COD once Killzone 2 comes out.. COD 4 sold 4 million copies on the PS3 while WAW has already sold over a million, Resistance 2 is also on its way to breaking a million.. PS3 owners might not buy a lot of all games but good FPS ALWAYS SELL and Killzone 2 will appeal to the COD crowd very easily and even if half of those 4 million COD4 owners buy Killzone 2, thats 2 million in sales in the first month alone.
