Well, duh. Playing an FPS on anything other than the PC is "doing it wrong". But I cannot afford to spend the amount of money I'd like to spend on a gaming PC at this current point in time, so I have to settle for consoles.

This game reminds me of why i hated call of duty 2003 demo for pc back in the day, i grew up shooting real guns it's kinda cool having iron sight in a game , but it makes games almost too realistic to the point they're boring and so basic and take's away what makes a video game a video game, u should be able to do stuff in a game u cant do in real life like rocket jumping lol. it's cool every now and then, these shooters will never replace quake for me though.

main reason im bored, it just feels like been there done that feel since basically all shooters are iron sight based now. it's a decent game, but i actually had more fun playing quake 3 xbox live arcade demo than this lol.

Lol what? You can't shoot other people... Unless you join the forces. Sitting in a deer stand aiming at an innocent doe drinking from a puddle of water isn't similar to COD :lol:

All u basically do in killzone3 is run around and shoot people. in quake it wasnt just about shooting people, it was like whoa dude i seen some cool **** within the level maybe i can rock jump up here then rocket jump off that way. rocket jumping made quake have a exploration aspect.

That's what made quake so goddamn awesome it was more to it than just shooting stuff. If you seen some cool landmark within the level on quake u could probley figure out a way to rocket jump up there lol, it was a new piece of land to walk on, exploring!!!!!!!!! lol.

I kinda liked the shooting in KZ2 better, bit more gratifying when you got a kill but overall KZ3 is ace.

That depends. I got about the same length into BC2's campaign as I did KZ2's campaign when I quit both of them. They both had really boring campaigns.

I'm having fun in the beta. I'm going to purchase the full game and enjoy it, but I don't think it has the best gameplay. The amount of fun and awesome moments that occur in Team Fortress 2 and Halo Reach are unreachable for other shooters.

That's what I personally think at least. :P

I'm no expert on FPS, but i've played my share of these games. KZ3 feels like no other game i've played. The controls are so smooth, responsive and satisfying. I love it.

Well thats where it gets silly :-) KZ3 is simply laughably better FPS than Black Ops in every single aspect. Good thing is that most reviewers vere acutally objective and the metascore is just nerfed by a few idiots that gave it 7/10 because its not on XBOX. I personally find Gamezone and Gametrailers reviews pretty good.

EDIT: I dont think Destructoid, Playstation Lifestyle and Playstation: The Official Magazine were objective though. 10/10 is too high for Killzone 3, because lets face it its just a shooter, even though the best one there is. It brings nothing new, nothing revolutionary. Thats why it shoudlnt get 10/10.
