Killzone 3 Direct Feed Screenshots!!! Wow Crysis 2 concole no thanks

Has anyone seen these screenshots? wow is an understatement. i think the console version of crysis 2 just lost all hope lol. And PC gamers gotta admit this looks great! low res, but still haters gonna hate

How are we supposed to come to any conclusion just by watching those small under 480p screenshots? Give us proper 720p ones so we can see the textures to their full extent and then we talk.

620x336 is useless for determining the quality of direct feed shots.

From my experience, console gamers usually hate direct feed shots; because they feel they don't represent their on screen experience. Never mind they are still what their system is outputting.

My phone is higher resolution than those shots.

I haven't played Crysis 2 yet for consoles but from the Killzone 3 demo I'm going to say Killzone 3 easily wins

and Perfect Dark Zero

Also, I can see that KZ3's textures are bad because I'm not blind.

Killzone 3 actually has pretty good textures. I was just playing the demo and thought they were fine. Most people who make a comment like that actually haven't played the game and just say it becasue the poster above them said so.

Don't look so good. Mostly it looks like poor textures with some shading work to fill the holes, it's basically like Crysis 2, I would say around the same level.

Killzone 3 may look slightly better but it's on a lot smaller scale then Crysis 2. Either way both games look great.

Killzone 3, coming to a concole near you!

another new year begins ( just like with Heavy Rain and GOd of war in 2010 ) rife with Sony fans raving over graphics, then the year ends and the sad sales numbers come in and then the crying and damage control begins over at the Sony camp.

Killzone 3 isnt anything special and i wont be tricked by Sony again like i was in 2009-2010.

i still see an average shooter wishing it was COD or Halo thats masked by a ton of post procesing effects.

call of duty 5 and Gears 3 laughs at how irrelevant Killzone is and even guerilla games is aware of this. i got duped into all the hype and bought KZ2 back in 09.

average gameplay, average story, average shooter, tons of blur and post processing to hide the jaggies and poor textures.

call me if and when the day ever comes that Killzone sells more than a smattering of copies or is ever relevant.

Hopefully people know the difference between a texture and mapping.

The fabric material is not part of the texture, it's depth added on top, like a normal map or something.

I have a 360, PS3 and a gaming rig.

Yesterday at midnight I downloaded the killzone 3 SP demo after waiting forever for it.

The game is amazing, the graphics, the gameplay and the scale. And that was only a demo.

And the MP beta was a blast compared to Black Ops or the Crysis Multiplayer demo.

People who are complaining about the graphics haven't played the demo yet.

For a console game, Killzone 3 achieved alot, and people should appreciate Guerrilla Games for listening to us the gamers and fixing everything that was wrong with Killzone 2. Not alot of developers do that.

And people who are complaining about the story because they read some reviews, please play the game first than judge.

And since when do we play FPS for the story? I don't recall Black ops having a good story or MW and MW2.

When I buy FPS, I go strait to the multiplier and I don't even touch the single player until I get bored.

i prefer kz3's graphics, but i'm sure the pc version of crysis 2 looks pretty damn good if you have the money to run it at 1080p max setting w/ consistent 40-60 fps.

Yea I agree, the demo was amazingingly detailed... as for the story sucking I thinking the reviewer is just impatient.. his only argument were that the political scenes were boring... I have a feeling it will be a pretty good story (for an FPS)

The Stalkers and metro are in my "best of" list for fps games this gen.

I also haven't purchased a cod game since I got burned on 3 and saw where the series was going.

We've seen them. They look bad. I played the 360 demo too. It looks bad. :P I'm waiting for the PC demo at this point.
