Killzone 3 is just like COD but why COD no flop!!!

Killzone 3 multiplayer got criticize for being the same old thing! and i agree with most things reviewers said but the MP is still fun like COD even is its the same thing and feels like a 1.2 instead of a sequel, you can feel little changes in gameplay. so why COD no flop!

I agree. People seem to care about scores too much.

Let it go man! U put to much stock in reviews. I've enjoyed a lot of 8.0 games more than 9.0 games. Example I liked Darksiders more than GOW3. Before GOW fanboys freak I loved both a lot. Just liked the setting and pace of Darkesiders a bit more. It just goes to show u that it's personal taste period. Why must people insist on a collective attitude?! Another example is I liked KZ2's class choices better than any Multiplayer game this gen. The single player could have been a lot better though.

Who cares? It's just a review. It literally means nothing and changes nothing.

I think it is just because COD has such a big following. The hype surrounding a COD launch is tremendous, and there aren't many games out there that can match it's buzz, except maybe Halo. I've heard nothing but good things about Killzone 2 and I plan on getting it eventually, then after that I'll possible pick up the third installment. From what I've played of KZ2 it just seemed a little slow, or if the main character is moving through water. Maybe I'm just used the fast paced games like R6,BFBC, or COD.

I can see you arguing Killzone 3, lair and GT5, but not Haze or Heavy ran.

Haze had almost no attention at all till right before release, so really was not hyped. Though t was horrible.

Heavy Ran never flopped, as it was never guessed what it would score (to be hyped to), because its a rather unique game. We had no idea how it would be rated on release in the standard video game scale. Though I guess you could argue the graphics were not up to what was hyped (which was very high)

What happened with HR is that people thought it would score AA but when many reviews started coming out with AAA scores people hyped a bit higher, then it flopped it was really close though if i recall correctly.

Haze got a 6, that's a flop, and I'm sure the game wasn't hyped a B.

Still HR was not a flop as most gamers did not hype AAA+. 8.5 is what it hovered around with some higher some lower. The graphics did flop though as they were not to the epic level they were hyped to be, but the overall game was spot on.

KZ is nothing like COD, other than that they are both shooters.

For example, KZ sports such current gen features as hit detection, physics, impressive visuals and sound, and it doesn't suck.

Probably because most people think it's better. I'd have to agree, the KZ3 beta is sooooo boring. Black Ops is fun!

considering i mostly get fps for mp (with a few exceptions), most of the best fps always come with a decent but not amazing single player campaign and great online... COD, BF:BC, Halo, Resistance and KZ are like that, they all have a good short sp campaign but great mp..

As for KZ3 'flopping' on some sites/mags, it should concern us fans/gamers.. Reviews are opinions!!!

I expected God of war 3, New Vegas, and even LBP 2, i had speculations on killzone 3. because it all looked very similar with its predeccessors, but never COD because it so big with many fanboys, and its supposed to flop especially COD 5 and MW2, but why it no flop!?!?!?
