So downloading music and movies is perfectly fine for millions of people but once some games are pirated the world and community goes nuts.Its gonna happen and will continue happening as long as the internet is still here. Get over it. If you want the game just go buy it like I will.

Well that didn't take too long.:? Also 20-40 gigs is nothing for pirates but I'm sure the folks that really want this game will buy it nonetheless. Can they get into the online matchmaking with the leaked versions on PSN though?:?

Yes you can. Sony may have patched the DNS trick but it's possibe to go online again with cfw 3.55. How can't tell here on this forum :P

Mine is 50GB - cable...downloading something like KZ3 would pretty much blow my net usage out of the water. Ill be stuck with dial up speeds (most of the time its slower) if I go above that limit.

Stuck with an over-the-limit slowdown for a week is enough to drive me to insanity. Let alone a month....

And to geohotz. I dont care if he hacked it for jailbreaking and not for piracy. He started this obviously inevitable mess that comes with his efforts and he knows that. Everyone involved should be rightfully pwned.

Waiting for someone to put a $100,000 bounty on Geohotz head...dead or alive.

More bad news for developers, publishers and probably honest gamers. We're hearing reports that Killzone 3 has been ripped and uploaded to torrent sites for dishonest gamers to download and run on their hacked PS3s.

The file is apparently the EU version of the game and weighs in at a hefty 41.4GB (with a non-3D version available at roughly half that) so hopefully the size will be enough to put off most people who might otherwise have been tempted. If not, this is the first major leak on Sony's console and is sure to be causing some distress behind the scenes at SCEE and Guerilla Games.

We're sure it will be just another incentive for Sony to work doubly hard on counteracting the security holes that have appeared in the console over the past few months and we hope that a swift resolution can be found without further impacting on honest gamers' experiences.

In the meantime, we urge all of our readers to support the industry and buy their games.

you can't play pirated games on the PS3 anyway cus there is no functionalBackup Manager. They ripped the game and put it on torrent sites for nothing. The interesting thing is that beside the press nobody else has the games so that means... :?
