Killzone 3 vs Gears of War 3?

Well, personally, I think Gears of War 3 will be miles better since I'll actually be playing it two weeks after I've purchased it. Look, I really enjoyed Killzone 2, but Gears of War 2 was miles ahead in terms of gameplay, replayability and multiplayer (especially after the last patch in around July which fixed everything). Graphics don't really matter to me because I have access to a pretty awesome gaming rig...so...meh.

What should Killzone 3 do to have a better chance of recieving a higher score than Gears of War 3?

Gears of war 3 for me .

Both are awesome series can't wait for them. Personally I would give Killzone the edge I feel it has a better continuing story.

gears 2 was disappointing andi enjoyed killzone 2 so i say killzone 3 will be better

If Kz3 has co-op(good) : Likely Kz3

If Kz3 lacks co-op: likely Gears 3.

Seriously GG, add co-op You always have someone with you already. Just make it a real person, and through in some co-op game modes (example horde)

Killzone 3 seems more like it.

I don't understand peoples logic in picking Gears 3. Even if you are likely going to enjoy it more, it doesn't look like they are adding anything new--it literally looks like it will play the exact same way, again. Killzone 3 is adding new gameplay mechanics, it looks out of this world, and is also adding 3D/Move support. Now, fandom aside, KZ3 is just the better product. They may as well rename Gears of War, Madden.

I'll end up buying both and probably loving them. However, Gears of War never goes farther than campaign, since the multiplayer has always been horrible for me. Lots of people running like crab, and rolling all over the place with the shotgun... -.-;;

Killzone 2 is a drastic improvement over the original killzone, and its looking like 3 will be the same in regards to 2. Gears 2 felt like a map pack, or DLC, to Gears 1. I'm not putting the game down technically, but I couldn't tell you the amount of times I've heard the games confused for each other.

The people that demo the game don't even look excited for the product. The E3 presentation was pitiful. On the other hand, Killzone3 has been shown and has recieved nothing but praise--and to my knowledge, anybody that has tried it in 3D has been blown away. KZ3 just offers more--it looks more polished, in the same vein as Uncharted 2 and God of War. Those top Sony titles really give nintendo games a run for their money.

In my opinion, this is a much better comparison than Killzone to Halo (where Killzone will always get destroyed).TBoogy
