If you played Goldeneye for the first time ever today you would turn it off in 3 seconds because it looks like crap and the controls are horrid. Was it good back then? Of course it was, but it didn't age well.
ya golden eye was a great game, but its controls are pretty bad nowadays. to be fair though 2 joysticks will be just as outdated and unplayable in the near future. some games from back then still play as good as the day they came out though like starcraft.

No actually Perfect Dark was the successor.
Are you saying that Dark Perfect has aged well and many people still play it? Not a chance. The thing about Halo 3 versus KZ2 is that will KZ2 bring anything better to the table (except the graphics of course). Seriously, Dark Perfect or Goldeneye don't stand a chance against Halo in this day.
he is saying that PD was the successor because it was made by the same dev team that made goldeneye. and the successor to that was timesplitters2 which again was made by the people that made perfect dark and was the best multiplayer shooter last gen. Halo is no where in the leniage.
I loved and played the hell out of Goldeneye in the day but you couldn't pay me to play it now days. Some games are classic and can be played forever, this is not one of those games.
