Killzone devs say they'll shut up the critics

The devs never said it was realtime, but Sony did. So sure the devs didn't intend it to be a real graphical representation, Sony did...Wasdie

I think they can say what they want, and pass the blame onto the devs when or if it fails.

But how will we know it's REAL game footage? I'd say they have to let us see the Disk, the PS3 allow regular people to play it. Otherwise, it's just another Sony lie.

That really is a get-out clause, guys. Come one. It's a top-down PSP game. It's hardly a technical show case, and it only got AA on gamespot anyway. Their two console offerings so far have scored in the 5 and 6's respectively; the 6.9 one was blamed on poor PS2 hardware. Their xbox game, which has no excuse, was even worse.

And what relevance does that have to anything? GTA jumped from top-down 2d to complete 3d. It was an enormous overhaul. You're not seriously saying that has any link at all to Killzone?

only kids feel like they need to call other's names.

But I see you find one exception to the rule and make it the norm. So for all the sucky games in the world, the sequels are all destined to be AAA. I think that's kind of silly thinking. More likely great games have great games follow them (at least more often then crappy games turning into good sequels.)

What a bunch of mealy mouthed nonsense. Everybody thought the PS3 was going to deliver on those graphics they showed because no one had reason to believe otherwise. That's why E3 2006 was the biggest kick in gamer's nuts ever. Sony took the beer goggles off their games.

And the damage control continues to this day. And still yet the PS3 games don't look as good as the 360. It's really an incredible turn around. I'm sure Lemmings were worried during E3 05, but by E3 06 they could sit back comfortably knowing they made the right choice.
