I didn't like the changes made to the multiplayer. The single player campaign was pretty cool. The multiplayer was frustrating coming from Killzone 2. Who care about the player motion. Its a game, its not COD, get used to it. What pissed me off (and a lot of other KZ2 fans) is the changes to the class system and maps. No spawn grenades for a Tactician is awful...completely ruined the class. The Infiltrator and Marskman got serious buffs in the game, so now you get spawn camped by them constantly. Even bots can't detect them anymore when fully leveled up which is absurd. The maps are much smaller and less creative than in KZ2. Overall, its about what you would expect for a company rushing a game out only two years after the last one. They should have waited a third year and spent more time on map design and class balancing.-ArchAngeL-777-
At first I was upset that the spawn grenade had been taken out but the tacticle spawn points have their advantages over the spawn grenades. First off too much of the community on KZ2 was stupid with them and would place them in awful locations. I still get flashbacks to this day of me getting spawn camped while playing offense on Search and Destroy at Corinth Rising because some idiots kepts throwing spawn grenades right next to the objective which was very close to the main spawn camp of the enemy. Unfortunately a team could only have so many on the map which would prevent me (a experienced Tactician) from placing a spawn grenade in a smart area.
At first I thought the Inflitrator class was broken because they removed the cleardisctinctions they had from allies in KZ2 but I soon learned that most people who play as the Inflitrator class aren't smart about staying incognito. They'll rush you to get a brutal melee kill for lulz and to stay disguised, they always come from the direction other enemy players come from, and they're aggressive so you'll know someone is an Infiltrator is you seem them running in your direction just by pure instinct. Then again I'm a Tactician very often and my recon ability allows me to see Inflitrators even when they're disguised.
Marksmens on the other hand are OP. Very much. Why the Hell they gave them mid-ranged assault rifles is beyond logic and even worse the VC32 was massively buffed and so it now kills in one shot every time even it they shoot your foot or your hand even. Not to mention the cool-down time for the cloak has been sped up. I wish the Tactician could counter their cloak but for some reason GG thought the Marksmen class hadn't been buffed up enough so they threw in a radar jammer so I can't weed them out with recon.
I haven't had a problem with the maps, actually I'd say they're better than KZ2's.Some of the maps on KZ2 very much favored ISA due to their design.
