Killzone is alot better then people say it is

killzone 2 was better then killzone 3. They dug them selves in a ditch on that one. But i wonder if it's true that they fired the killzone 2 MP director, because it was a complete step back.eboyishere

I think Killzone 3 deserves more praise, but Killzone 2 is awful & massively overrated.

KZ2 was really good and a great framwork to build off of for KZ3, but GG screwed that up completely. KZ3's campaign had a worse narrative than KZ2, and the characters were worse. Additionally, the MP in 3 was piss poor. They took away the custom servers in favor of matchmaking, but didn't take away the region choosing (the main problem with KZ2) which means it had all the problems of two minus all the positiives.

The classess were overkill in 3. Permanent invisibility, shotguns being way too powerful at distance, and Marksmen getting assault rifles. Everything was pretty much fail in 3's MP. What a turd. It was better than Resistance 3, but worse than just about any other FPS this year other than COD.

No not at all. I spent most of my time during the PSN outage researching parts and how to assemble parts and such. I had it built by the time the outage was over and since then I barely even play my PS3 (aside from Dark Souls which I have played tons of)

Tbh I hardly play my PS3 anymore either. Mainly Demon's Souls from time to time :P

I recently started playing Killzone 3 again and I can say hands down that it is the best FPS I have played this year, and it stands right up there with the top FPS gamesin my eyes(Halo and COD) . Sure it's not as popular as those two games, but it's community is growing constantly and the multiplayer in the series gives these other two games a run for it's money, let alone the game is so advanced that it makes other FPS games feel outdated. The storyline isn't very good but neither is COD or Halo either (sorry Halo fanboys, but it's true), but those games don't get hate because of the storyline and Killzone is no exception.

I noticed that alot of people doing the bashing never played Killzone before, which isn't surprising. If more people gave Killzone a chance I know they would like it, and the controls arn't a problem in Killzone 3. Killzone is a great series and I hope that GG keeps making them, the hate for the series doesn't make much sense, that's their opinion. The Kilzone games are easlily the best FPS for PS3, not in popularity but in terms of gameplay and graphics. No other game on consoles can beat it in that category.

I had alot of fun with the killzone 3 single player. Single player wise it was a much better game then Killzone 2. I didnt play the MP on both extensively enough to compare them fully.

I had so much fun playing kz3. I love the franchise actually, one of my favorite FPS franchises tbh.

i mean, the games score high for a reason....

KZ2 was alright. the MP took a bit getting used to, but it could be a fun FPS. A good shooter in my books.

KZ3 however....horrible. Bland campaign, multiplayer filled with too mny problems to count, bad co-op play.....what a failure.

How exactly is Killzone a CoD clone? It has almost nothing in common with it.
