Killzone is not console gfx king

heck it isnt even any type of gfx king, it looks like garbage. I am a predominantely PC gamer and this is my honest opinion. But I also think Uncharted looks great on the ps3. This is probably because the levels are all really small. Killzone looks like arse sorry, if you want to see a real gfx in an fps play any PC game from 2005 onward lol.

Killzone 2 is the console graphics prince. Uncharted 2 is the king.

Killzone 3, however, will be replacing Uncharted 2 as the king.

Regardless of what you think, it is in the top 2 best looking games on consoles. On a technical level, it's up there and even betters UC2 in some areas.

You may not like the way it looks, but it's a technical marvel on consoles. Of course comapred to a PC game it's below average.

honestly these console gamers don't deserve to be talking about gfx. Once youve actually seen a PC game on decent hardware running everything on the consoles looks like it was made from a different generation.

i have a ps3 and a 360, and nothing looks good anymore now that Ive gotten used to the pc. The ONLY decent looking game Ill acknowledge is uncharted 2, god of war and the gears series. Thats it.

I'm generally not impressed by console graphics but you can't really dismiss what KZ2 does.

I know the difference between an art style and the technical graphics as I mostly game on the pc at 1080p at decent settings. Well thats just the limitation of a $300 console with parts costing much less than that.

it wouldnt be a problem if people here would go on and on about how PS3 games look the best, but will us the PC as the best verison against the 360

Console graphics King is a sillytitle. Not just cause it excludes a platform in order to make another look better.

Declaring a title better looking then another is purely opinion and the general population of system wars are not the type of people who's opinion i would share or even take into mild consideration

In summary ... I couldnt care less what you think. Killzone 3, just like Killzone 2 looks excellent. Is it the best? Not in my opinion, but who cares what I think.

Hmmmm... Odd, I have been a PC gamer for a long time and I have no trouble finding good looking games. For example, Uncharted 1 + 2, Gears 1 + 2, MGS4, KZ2, Mirror's Edge, FFXIII, RDR, Mass Effect 1 + 2, plus more.

Don't worry it's not just you. I never understood what people see in KZ2. I guess people like a lot of blur, grain and low poly structures. Oh well...

Now Uncharted 2 looks great and is sharp. I don't see how after seeing Uncharted 2 in action one then turns around and says that KZ2 is graphics king. The visuals really are nothing special at all. I think the hype....no..no check that...the OVER-hype with this game dating back from that silly E3 video created this fallacy. When you consider the E3 video, the time it took to release and the pressure Guerilla was under to deliver I almost feel that fans HAD to say it looked great. It is not an ugly game mind you but the visuals just don't do anything for me.

in 5 years we wont care bout how prety it is heck we wont care about any games graphics today cause theyl all be outdated. heck the way its moving in a couple months after release another game will top it. then another and another.

I'm a Hermit and I think TC is a troll.

A game looking like crap would be Rig Rigs not UC2 or KZ2.

UC2 and KZ2 are two of the most beautiful looking console games today.

There are better looking PC games out there but they are few, I would even say a handfull.

I think the problem for us Hermits right now is that our hardware has outrun the developers level of ambition.

Take a game like Dirt 2 for example. It runs at 30 fps/ 720p on the consoles and it is a good looking game, right?

My medium / high end PC can play that game 1920 x 1200 all maxed out and I get almost 120 fps, I mean come on.

Enough is enough. The PC is ready for the next gen of graphics, developers why are you holding us back?

It's not that I'm impressed by the graphics as such, I just take it for what it is. All things considered it's pretty damn good and the awesome artstyle is just a plus.

On a different note when a PC gamer says console games look like absolute crap and/or garbage it is because he has some sort of superiority complex, and takes comfort in saying that other things suck. Theseare video games people.PC gamers aren't better than console gamers. If console gamers really wanted to game on PC's they would. It's not like sports where somekids arebetter and you have to sit back and watch them succeed where you dont. I never understood the superiority complex PC gamers have, its not like they are gifted or ordained by some higher power, they just went out and bought a PC just how anybody can. This is coming from someone whose PC can run fully modded Crysis on high. Killzone 2 looks absolutely fantastic.
