Killzone is one of my favorite FPS of all time, it was just really fun for me.  It was one of the first to introduce sprinting and no bunnyhopping (or jumping at all=realistic warfare) and it was fun to have your whole screeen move when reloading and throwing grenades and stuff. Killzone felt more epic and definately has potential because it wasn't perfect.  The lack of vehicles and the occassional face texture skips on allies was a nuisance. JET BIKE which attacks you would be amazing to ride ;)

So i'll sum it up.

Killzone: 1 player > halo 1 player

Halo: multi >UTTERLY> Killzone Multi

I don't think I know of a game with more potential than Killzone that screwed up. I am actually going to buy Killzone today just to see exactly  why some people liked it and others didn't. It's gotta be like $5-$10 tops now.

Halo was a much better game than Killzone imo, but Killzone did feel like it had a lot of potential. Killzone on the PS3 might be a very good game

I played Killzone. . . . . . Not a very good game.

1. Characters sucked [especially Jan or Yan or whatever his name is]
2. Glitches sucked
3. Weapons mostly sucked.
4. Story really sucked

Killzone 2 could prove to be a great game. However, the track record of the series (albeit a short one) suggests that it might be average or just above average. Halo 3 could prove to be a terrible game. However, the track record of the series suggests that it might be great or even epic. I would place my bets on Halo 3 as the better game and would be satisfied with being pleasantly surprised by Killzone 2 if it manages a AAA score.

I rented Killzone, and Halo beats it in online mulitplayer badly. Single-player in killzone is alright, but it seems so far behind in things that you can do (Halo many vehicles for one thing, and graphics)

KillZone2 (not the PSP one) to should have good graphics this time, but I still think its going to be behind Halo 3 in gameplay and online. It should have a hard time beating R:FOM.
