KillZone PS3 shown at GDC 2007

behind closed doors...currently the gaming press are under embargo until 10:30am PST before they can reveal their impression. what does theis mean for Playstation Gamers, does it like up to the graphical hype?

Yes this game flopped, and I know it will make 360 fans attack it again like hungry dogs. But didnt MotorStorm do good graphic wise from what they showed in I think it was E3, and how the game came out looking. Maybe Im wrong, maybe Im not. Someone refresh my mind how MotorStorm looked like when Sony showed it of.

So what Im saying since the graphics of MotorStorm came out close, or almost looking like the video. What are the chances that it cant happen with KZ2?

(Mass_Effect) i'm a PS3 fan and i agree with you, i can't see games reaching that standard in animation and A.I this early in the console wars, maybe in the next 5 years. BUT WHAT IF KILLZONE HAS??funolopy

Well, I think Killzone will most likely have great graphics, but not on the scale that we saw in the first trailer. I doubt we'll even see that on this gen of consoles. Anyone who thinks Killzone will look anything like the trailer is in la la land. Everything in the trailer just ran too smoothly, there would be no way for developers to get anything like that without scripting everything; not with current technology anyway

It sounds like they will only show the game behind closed doors until E3.  That has me a bit concerned personally. 

From what I have heard from people who have seen the game behind closed doors at GDC it doesn't equal the CGI trailer.  They said it still looks awesome but it doesn't equal it.  This will be enough for Lemmings to bash the game and spit out the usual "Sony over promised and under delivered." rhetoric that has already infected this thread.  Its ok for MS to show off some sort of CGI Halo trailer however.iwo4life

And also the fact that a trailer using the in-game engine was shown of Halo 3 before the CGI advert
