KillZone PS3 shown at GDC 2007

There is no way any game will have animations like we saw in the Killzone CGI trailer. And the AI looked way too complex in the trailer. The actual Killzone 2 may look good, but it won't be like the CGI trailerMass_Effect

1. iwo4life stated which trailer he was referring to. He even gave an example of a scene which was in this very trailer, yet you kept thinking he was talking about the E3 2006 showing.

2. He never claimed that Bungie/MS had stated that this CGI commercial was gameplay. Neither did I.

3. He only expressed that he disliked the idea of releasing a CGI commercial at all.

Please..correct me...I'm waiting.

Bungie never claimed the CG Halo 3 trailer was gameplay, they admitted it was CGI before they showed it.

not really.  Even Ed Fries (before he left) made comment about how they didn't want to use misleading info...

either way, i can't think of any misleading info MS has put out.  So far, they seem to be pretty straitght shooters....

Gamereactor was there and saw the trailer.

To summarize their opinion:

Doesn't match the E3 2005 trailer. Doesn't match Gears of War either.
It doesn't look bad in any way, but Sony has placed themselves in a situation in which people will be disappointed when they see Killzone next time.

They also state that we'll see more of Killzone on E3.

If anything I thinkt he graphics will look close, but animations and AI will be nowere near as fluid.DA_B0MB

So was it a tech demo or the actual game itself???

Guess we'll have to wait until E3......
