killzone public beta

looks like Killzone may have a public beta lets hope it's not as much as a debocale that the halo 3 beta has been so far (it's faor enough that it was a beta and then things would'nt work but I'd at least exept the beta itself to work for us crackdown owners)

Why would they do that? Its not like Killzone's a huge title or anything except to huge Sony fans that watched that pretty movie a while back. The average gamer doesn't know or care about it.

Anything is capable of being huge, and if Killzone does score higher than halo 3(just a prediction), im sure people will be talking about it. Just look at God Of War and how well and popular its become.

There are many reason to do a Beta other then for popularity...... 

Actually a lot of gamers know about it. Not the first one so much, but this next one coming out has a bunch of hype and publicity b/c of E3. So yeah it kinda is a big deal, especially since it's supposed to be the Halo killer.Thatguybobby

Wasn't the first one supposed to be a Halo killer? Why don't people hype a new IP that may do the job, or a sequel to a game that was more than mediocre. 

Resistance is already better than Killzone.  With that said, seems like they are trying to out-beta-hype Halo 3 which just isn't going to happen.

But if KZ2 can match the hype the Beta has limitless possibilities of getting the game all the attention needed for big sales.

Who knows.

personally I think all of these public betas are part publicity part bug fixing but then who cares personally I don't call me shallow but once I get on halo 3 I'm just gonna enjoy myself (if it's easy enough to tell them about bugs and stuff I'll do it if I come across them) and I think that for a lot of people playing killzone on the public beta (assuming it does come out of course) will be like minded

once again yeay me :P

Self owned if you think no one cared. Im a lemming and i think this game will finally set a standard. They have made 1 flop, and 1 hit. This is just a make or break, and since Sony is incharge of the title to, its got a good chance of doing well. Doesnt take logic to figure that out. IF, and i said IF Killzone looked and played they way it looked like back at E3 2006, no one can honestly sit there and say this game will go down the drain.

Plenty of people care, about this game, myself included. The thing people don't care about is biased fanboys such as yourself. U cant call a game u know NOTHING about a flop.

Killzone 2 is in a better place then Halo 3.

Halo 3 is hyped beyond its own capability to match that hype. Killzone 2 is so below the radar it can catch people off guard and be a real good surprise.

The worst case scenario is that KZ2 flops just like the first, no real surprise there. Now if Halo 3 flops thats a much bigger loss.
