Killzone SF Downgraded

@FoxbatAlpha: I preordered PS4 for Assassins Cred 4 ( I have the other AC's on PS3 ), inFAMOUS Second Son, and Battlefield 4 ( Have the Battlefeilds on Playstation ).

GOnna get an Xbox One for Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Call Of Duty Ghost ( All COD games i have on Xbox ), and Halo.

Downgrade for sure, some parts looked like I was watching TitanFall, not a bad thing though. Because I don't feel TitanFalls graphics are bad, but this is definitely not the KZ I first saw, graphics are average.

I don't understand how cows hype this, not just because its an average game but even if it still had its killer graphics the game looked boring.

I'm looking at this gif, which is compressed to like 20 frames per second, and I see shadows on everyone. The guy walking into that room has shadows too, it's just too brief of a scene and he walks into a dark room. You can see his shadow very briefly as he walks into the room, but the shadow from the flag above the door obstructs it. You can see the shadow from his arm just as he walks through the doorway.

BTW - funny how the gif is spliced right as he walks up the steps and then as he's walking into the room at the last second.

Seriously Lemming - cherry-pick a REAL scene to make gif's for.

how do you watch the video? Because for me it's been buffering for like 20 minutes and nothing.

Still day 1 for me. I don't base my purchase off what I see on t.v or the internet.

Well, it may not be the most common approach, but it happens.

All of Crysis games have the cutscenes in first person.

Shadowfall is still looking awesome according to the last HD video I just watched.

This statement is true especially considering its a franchise with AAA and AA games under belt and its latest iteration has more pre-orders than X1's existence.

The custom warzone sounds like a lot of fun. Just over all the MP looks like a lot of fun to me. This is one of the 3 or 4 games I'll be picking up next month with my PS4.

@zeeshanhaider: Nope, the cutscenes are realtime during gameplay. Those are the same graphics you'll see while playing the game, they won't pop out to do 3rd person cutscenes lke they did in KZ3. The game looks stunning from the full footage we've seen and definitely an improvement....

Anyways, my post didn't meant to downplay KZ:SF. I actually wanted to say that the characters in gif did have shadows and it's a cherry picked gif but then the anti-cow in me took over.

@zeeshanhaider: The dev they were talking to on GTTV said the cutscenes will occur during gameplay and they decided to have all of them in 1st person so that they don't take the immersion away from you like they did in KZ3.

This game does look very, very good. But its no world ender Cows been screaming about. Gameplay still looks boring.

I didn't see the whole video to be sure. If you have seen these moments in gameplay then sure as you say it's gameplay if not then there's more chance of them being cutscenes. I mean the camera movement screams cutscene to me.

Seems like a weird lem party, where they keep saying that they are going to cancel their pre-order. They make it sound like they have 5 pre-orders, and whenever some "bad" news occurs, they just slash one from the list.

anyone who has played crysis 2 and 3 should know to just wait till ryse get released and laugh. Oh its going to be a fun day at system wars. Lems will go full meltdown/damage control.

Wow this launch is starting to disappoint me. First no Driveclub now KZSF downgraded. I'm going to keep my preorder but probably wont play PS4 until next year when the library and performance titles start to come out. Atleast when Driveclub comes out it will most probably an awesome performing title.

As with the previous KZ games, Sony is not being honest. (Big surprise)

The decent looking videos of KZ you have seen were all from a PC devkit that was supposed to simulate the performance of a PS4. Unfortunately for Sony and their developers, the actual hardware does not perform as well as expected.

The actual game will look more like the OP's gif. Maybe not quite that bad, but nowhere near what the fans are expecting.

Sony's developers are scrambling to try to get something halfway acceptable running in time for release. Sony tried an overclock, but the system's cooling couldn't handle it. The DriveClub and Watch Dog developers already had to admit they couldn't have anything acceptable ready for launch.

I almost feel sorry for the Sony fans. They have no idea what is coming. At least they will have a few indie games to play.

xbox 360 launch game does not compare to the graphics we get now at the end of 360.

Well personally I myself have been disappointed by some of the KZSF videos. I had already cancelled preorder of Driveclub and just cancelled preorder of KZSF. Now I have to decide if I'm going to cancel PS4 preorder as there isn't anything at launch that looks good as far as exclusives.
