How about a video comparing the combat? You know, the most important aspect of a shooter. HL 2's "stand still out in the open" ai makes it an easy game to beat.

Killzone has been garbage since 2, where I almost though it made up for the broken first game.

Lems act like they're the only faction allowed to have good franchises. It's hilarious. Killzone scored AAA and AA, if it's not a good series then neither is Forza by Lem logic.

It looks good, but plays so slow. It feels like an FPS in which you control a turtle.

lol its funny how often i hear this about killzone. only to see their forums light up with how bad it is and how it was a waste of money. KZ is a bad franchise

Brilliant pacing, awesome level design, and some of the best story-telling in games.

Half Life 2, while slightly worse in these areas, still pretty awesome.

Most devs give credit to how both titles have influenced game design over the last decade plus, and there is a reason that Half Life is still remembered so highly 15 years after launch.

If Killzone is even remembered 6 months after launch I'll be surprised...... Well, maybe not since the PS4 has barely any exclusives in the first 6 months, so cows will still be holding onto that game.

But seriously.

I can't find any words to say because I refuse to take this thread title seriously. The minimum goal of this Halo killer franchise was to at least beat Halo 4, so if it can do that with this game it might at least be average.

Killzone is just like Crysis. It has some nice eye candy but overall the games get boring fast.

I did like KZ3 but both Half-Life and Half-Life 2 were way better and I doubt that KZ:SF will be as good as both HL games.

never been much of a FPS fan and have never played Half-Life either (well a bit on PS2 but wasn't a fan) but seeing that the series has been put on such high pedestal no wonder Valve have not released a part 3 yet.

Although I wouldn't judge Shadow Fall based on the prior games since this one is a whole different beast. Gameplay wise they are like 2 totally different franchises but sharing the same awesome art-style and setting. And is even better now with the new shades of gray within the story-line. They always been there though but not like this.

Half Life 1 and 2 are the two FPS games ever made. KZ will NEVER reach the quality of HL.

Just about every previewer says "other then the weighty feel of the weapons" it plays nothing like Killzone. The other killzones were squadbased and very linear. In this game you are a spy in a much more open world. It plays much differently from what everyone is saying.

Everyone seems to be forgetting how much of an impact each Half-Life game had on release back in the day. KZ:SF looks to be a real good FPS but I can't see it having the same kind of impact on FPS's to come over the next decade. :S
