Killzone: Shadow Fall is the only truely next gen title

The visuals, second to none. Only games that compete are Crysis 3 and BF4 on PC

I laughed on spike TV when the footage cut from KZ:SF to Titanfall. Truely a contrast between the choices..

This topic is clearly talking about graphics.

There is no one "next gen" gameplay element that hasn't been done before on any platform in any game. So don't even open that can of worms :)

Yea it's definitely the best looking console game at launch and the only one that has shown the true leap in visuals between current gen and next gen.

I would agree with this and this is coming from some1 with a gaming rig. No other games look 'good' for my insane standards.

As amazing as Killzone looks and as mediocre as Titanfall looks - which game has everyone who plays it drooling with excitement? Cows need to re-align their priorities.

The people that have actually seen and played both games clearly prefer Titanfall, just look at all the awards.

Killzone graphics are good but I still wouldn't say its next gen.

NBA 2K14 looks better than KZ.

Killzone SF will deliver a next gen experience of boring. No one at any of these shows who played it was praising it like Titanfall. TitanFall

KZ looks visually better. Titanfall looks to be doing more for the shooter genre however.

Perhaps graphically, but Titanfall has been getting a lot of positive press and acclaim.

The game looks good but its not the best. I saw the GTTV feature last night and some of the visuals are meh. Especially single player footage. Did anyone get a look at the rain effects? Best looking next gen? Lol no.

Honestly if someone told me that was ps3 footage I would've believed it.

Also the foliage in the forest scene looks poor and I see Sony up to their tricks using fog and slight blur to hide mushy visuals

Granted, it's flawed, but it makes great use of the WiiU pad, and delivers an insanely tense experience. I find that to be more worthy of next gen experience than a game that's just shiny.

@lostrib: Are you seriously comparing Ryse's gameplay to KZSF? Lmao, I know this is SW and people love to argue but you've got to be delusional if you think Ryse will be a good game from the previews we've seen so far. None of the previews have been positive and every single gameplay video has showed glitchy animations and "Press A" to proceed gameplay. I know people love to hate on KZ on SW but the last KZ game scored an 8.5 on this site and the one before that scored a 9, Ryse will be lucky to score a 6 here.

Meh, Ryse is more impressive from a graphics standpoint... if we talk gameplay then Titanfall is way more hyped than KZ obviously, sorry cows, PS4 looses on all fronts.

I noticed that, when they showed Titanfall after Killzone, I instantly noticed how terrible Titanfall looks.
