Game looks like any other shooter I'd see on the market today. Next-gen is not necessary for the design of that game, and the graphics might be pretty, but they're graphics I've been running on PC for awhile now. Sorry if I'm not gawking.

I havent seen anything that looks better than Ryse if we are talking just graphics (though i thought the Division looked great).

Gameplay wise, neither KZ or Ryse were impressive. Id have to give gameplay to Watch Dogs, Titanfall, or The Division.

Yes it looks better than any PC game but whats more important is the fully custom multiplayer with 0 aim assist and clan support.

we're not far off 2014 and you're acting as if that's a big deal. halo 2 (in 2004) had clan support, 1 - 50 competitive ranking and fully custom multiplayer.

Really a shame how underrated Metro visuals are... it looks great, but Crysis 3 took the spotlight, with Last Light pushed to the side.

It's humiliating enough that Ryse renders at 900p, but KZ's MP even at full HD 1080p and 60fps still looks better. And don't tell me "blind" is the new excuse for fancy particles. You lems are really pathetic sometimes lol.

Actually Destiny looks much more "next-gen" than Killzone Shadow Fall. Shadow Fall is pretty traditional in its setup. It has defined single player and multiplayer elements. Both seem to be more robust in their build (sandbox approach for the single player, a lot of game modes for the multiplayer) but there is still that traditional split that keeps the two separate.

A game like Destiny is merging these experiences into one game. Seamlessly dropping people in and out of their games. Forcing co-operation seamlessly so the player doesn't even know it. The world will be much more rich and diverse because of this.

Crysis 2 and BF3 on PC kicks KZ:SF out of the water and they were released in 2011. Forget about Crysis 3 and BF4. And even on consoles BF4 is technically more impressive than KZ:SF, may be GG should take classes from DICE on how to program games for x86 PS4.

This...KZ SF looks good but the particle textures and rain look like shite...games from 2011 on PC look leaps and bounds better than KZ.

They can't even get it to run past 720p on Xbone, that already tells you something. Why do I need to play KZSF when there are tons of videos and media for it on the internet. I have eyes, I can already see it looks better than any game on consoles from a technical perspective. The only games that give it a run for its money are on PC (BF4 and Crysis 3).

What? Metro Last Light is very consistent with each environment using light and colour really well along with each area being PACKED with little details all the time. There's always rubble,debris,webs or human waste lying around

Crysis 3 is one of the most inconsistent games I've ever seen. After the Dam level it gets really boring to look at.

Also I'm not referring to what you said in the OP I'm referring to what you said back when these games launched.

Titanfall will play 10x's better and be more fun. That's the main reason to play games. It's never been just about the graphics.

Forza 5 looks incredible and will run at 1080p @60fps as well. Definitely looks better then Drive Club. Ryse was optimized again and is looking better as well. KI is incredible and have gotten great gameplay previews.

The only decent launch game on any platform honestly everything else is pretty subpar and can be played on the pc.

Xboxone all they have is killer instinct,foza,ryse and killzone shadow fall will honestly have more replay value than any of those.

Fps tend to have more replay value than racing or fighting.

Ryse goes for high-budget filmic realism. SF goes for some ridiculous warm / cool lighting theme that would never be seen in any CG film
