Killzone Trilogy - Releasing in October - Trailer/info inside

I hated playing Killzone 2 when I originally bought it. Hated it. This collection is tempting though; I haven't played KZ2 since it released and haven't touched the other two so this may be a good opportunity.

Love the collections like this as long as they are a good value.

I am not so sure about KZ1, it's game play and graphics is outdated.

KZ 2 and KZ 3 however are amazing, the most advanced and most refined FPS I have ever played. Seriously you will not find better gameplay in an FPS. Everything from melee to the way the guns kick when they shoot, the amazing enemy AI, and just the beautiful graphics, KZ delivers. And it's online is addictive and insanely deep, kind of like Team Fortress on Skooma.

The games will get hate, but most of that comes from people who do not own a PS3. I can gurantee you if KZ was a multiplat, most of these haters would be praising the game.

Stating the truth over a common misconception is not damage controlling. It was to stop the influx of misinformed threads being spewed around SW. It's like saying that the PS3 fat and slim are different systems and have different games. technically it's right, they're different systems but not really. And it worked too, there were no more threads comparing mac to PC afterwards.

Also on topic. Killzone 1 was pretty bad. Back then it looked good but the gameplay was pretty shoddy. Killzone 2 was a huge improvement but had a horrible story and even worse characters. Haven't played KZ3 though so can't comment on that

The only reason macs go under different names and standards is because Apple want it to. If it was just called a PC no one would buy them for the price. but because it's apple and called a mac it somehow makes people think it's better. So saying mac isn't a PC is not true. They're both personal computers

($3500) There's no need for me to have a pc tower at home anymore. My wife and I get our internet access through the ipad, and we use the Netflicks on the ps3. I have a powerhouse at my full time job, where I do all my animating, editing, etc. So yeah, am I bias towards the PS3? Duh! I've had consoles and computers since the Atari 2600, and the PS3 has been my favorite by far. So yeah, call me an idiot. I've experienced more of gaming history, and all that it has to, and has had to, offer, than most of the members on this forum. When you call me an idiot for enjoying a title that you obviously don't like, you display perfectly why herms, in my opinion, are the most sensitive group of gamers. That, and 30+ page long threads. Uh, yes Wolfenstein was the first fps I've played. :( I was in high school in 1992. Why wouldn't I have played it? Again, I ask, were you even alive in '92? You never answered. In my college apartment, in 1996-97, I would frequently have lan games with my roomate, and a few other friends who would drag over their machines and we would play Doom 2. Here's the thing... If you genuinely get upset at what I post...then you don't have very many "real" responsibilities in your life, like say...property taxes, or a mortgage, or a child, etc. SW, according to GS's own thread, is a place to "war." Guys here at work play Crysis after hours sometimes, along with a few other games. I generally like to go home at the end of the day, so I don't partake very much. I can go on and on. But again, because my opinion differs, I'm an idiot. I also have my Apple IIc in there (the swag thread) (my first computer) along with some software that was still at my folks house. Also had Adventure Construction Set (was an rpg, but you could also create your own rpgs, right down to designing monsters and such. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adventure_Construction_Set (this was the mid 80's, way beyond your time) I've owned numerous powerhouse pc's, which I used for doing all my after effects, 3d, freelance work. Since I do strictly illustration freelance now, I own a Motion Computing tablet pc, which I guarantee cost more than most gaming rigs mentioned on this forum. ($3500) There's no need for me to have a pc tower at home anymore. My wife and I get our internet access through the ipad, and we use the Netflicks on the ps3. I have a powerhouse at my full time job, where I do all my animating, editing, etc. So yeah, am I bias towards the PS3? Duh! I've had consoles and computers since the Atari 2600, and the PS3 has been my favorite by far. So yeah, call me an idiot. I've experienced more of gaming history, and all that it has to, and has had to, offer, than most of the members on this forum. When you call me an idiot for enjoying a title that you obviously don't like, you display perfectly why herms, in my opinion, are the most sensitive group of gamers. That, and 30+ page long threads. To be fair you post a LOT of pics and it's a pain in the ass to moderate threads with lots of pics. Not only that but pics that all say the same thing and are repeated numerous times all over system wars. Then you have people quoting your pics and adding their own to it making things even more frustrating. There's a reason we're told not to quote a lot of pics in the screenshot thread. spams the place up

I still think it's funny that he made a staff thread claiming Macs as PCs after your thread. I did not know mods could damage control.

Stating the truth over a common misconception is not damage controlling. It was to stop the influx of misinformed threads being spewed around SW. It's like saying that the PS3 fat and slim are different systems and have different games. technically it's right, they're different systems but not really. And it worked too, there were no more threads comparing mac to PC afterwards.

According to it, a Mac is a PC because of similar OS and whatnot. Well by that logic a PS3 can be counted as a PC too beause you can also run OS on it (not that I do, I think that's just silly. I play games on my PS3, not stupid OS nerd stuff).

I've got both EU collector's edition and the american Helghast one. This is a day one for me ! Always wanted to play the first one and now i have the chance ! :)

Killzone is the first FPS since Quake I that has sucked a lot of my time. Love the atmosphere, love the characters and universe !!!
