they delayed it cuz they panzied out competing against gear of war 2 haha a smart choice though, they would get annhilated. (taken from the gamespot killzone 2 article on home page)

That is so true.

Its actually a smart move if u look at it, its not because they are scared. They only did it because Resistance 2 was launching the same time period so they dont want to launch 2 of there big franchise games near the same time, they want both games to sell well for example it would be like launching ninja gaiden 2 and gears around the same time, u really think MS would let that happen? No they would actually delay one of them just so the other has time to shine and make money and then when sales start slowing down for that certain game they bring in ninja gaiden 2, see where im getting at, its a smart move not a cowardly move. Its a business and u need to let each of your big hitters have some time to shine before releasing another big hitter to the mix.
