I expect sales to be high but after people tire of it returns will be as well

If the lines at PAX are any indication, yes Kinect will crush Move. People were going bananas over that Dance Central game and Kinect Adventures.

Well people will buy it becasue they don't realize how little it can actually do. Then they'll stop playing it after about a day, then word will get out and kill sales. Yeah, it'll do well off the bat, but word of mouth will kill it quick.lx_theo

Hardware sales are nothing really compared to software sales

Expect the move to dominate in those.. as it's just not as limited when it comes to games supporting the device

You know how people give the Wii crap because the strongest first party titles don't use motion controls... imagine franchises like Halo and Gears not using Kinect

Sony has a headstart here. I wonder if they will play out like the console sales. Earlier release=more units sold. Of course, the Wii was the exception.

I don't care if it sells more. You could give me one and I'd probably never use it. Move has a greater chance of having games that I'd like to play. Kinect has that annoying lag, and I'm not convinced that it can consistently capture all movements. So pass. Fumpa

Microsoft advertises Kinect Sony doesnt advertise Move. I seen Kinect on a Macys commerical and others. Its obviously going to sell more but its hardware limited and garbage compared to Wii/Move.

its not having problems with lag, the newest software build has been flawless from what i read. Wait until it comes out to judge it, its going to trample Move sales....

im getting Kinect for the Kinect Hub and Core games when they come out..... WE just believe in MS thats all, they know what they are doing and they put out a better product than the PS3 IMEOso it is what it is...

I'm not choosing sides, but a few people on the Giant Bombcast were asked what game they were most looking forward to for the rest of 2010 and Jeff Gerstmann and another guy mentioned Dance Central. I actually would be hyped about it (it actually looks fun imo), but the price of Kinect is what is stopping me at the moment. $150 is too much imo.

This is sad really sad.
