What fun is Move by yourself. If you ar emost who do not own a Eye camera, then you will that too. The bundles start at $100 but for the full experience the pointer is an additional 40 bucks. That's $140 dollars to start with. For additional players they need atleast another wand that goes for 49.99 and if no dualshock 3 they need a pointer too. That is getting pricey. The bundle comes with 1 game.

According to gamespot.com, Retailers think Kintetics (still typing Natal) will cost 149 dollars. It lets up to four people at once.

The navigation controller is $30.

Kinect isn't actually priced yet.

I keep seeing people write 4-players. I'll reiterate that I've yet to see any footage of 4 people playing it concurrently.

There are going to be 4 player games even MS has said this. Even if you have two player Move controllers it's still more expensive. also you need a charger base for the Move controllers.

SO by that logic 360 is 10X as expensive as PS3, given all the batteries repair, rebought games. Plug and play packs.

I've still yet to see any footage of it being utilised with four players.

The price of entry is US$99.99, €59.99 or 5980 yen if you don't have the PSEye, and US$49.99, €39.99 or 3980 yen if you do.

The Move charges via USB, just like the DS3.

So it's more expensive based on the fact people need to buy more than one controller? Then what if you only need one?

Move controller is $49.99, and with the nunchuck type attachment, an additional $29.99. That's $80. If you want two people to play, that becomes $160. So yeah, Natal has a fair price point when you look at it like that.

This reminds me of the 360 is more expensive than the PS3 argument. No TC Move is cheaper than Kinect, 50 dollars is cheaper than 149.

Who cares about either. They both suck. Just buy a Wii and you'll get better motion control games on it than 360 and PS3.

Already Pre-Ordered the Move bundle, i may even get the new designed 360 when the bundle with kinect comes out. Why would people not want to use motion controls alone TC?

And there are games that need two Move-sticks for one player, so you'd need two if you ever wanted to play those dance games. You don't need the sub-controller, though. You can use a Dualshock. (which is sorta lame but better than paying $30)

I imagine games have been designed so that if you don't have two wands there's an option to use one only. I think this was shown in the rather boring video of those two Dutch? people playing the game.

Sports Champion is bundled with the starter pack, and includes things like swordfighting and archery. If it absolutely needed two controllers to function then they would have bundled it with a different game.

The cost of entry is the cost of entry, 50 bucks or 100 bucks depending on whether you have the PSEye.

HAVE you seen the game lineup??? :P MOVE has plenty of games to play by oneself!! You are talking about Casual games!!! ;) Who here cares about that??8) Killzone 3, Socom4, .... FPS Fighters, .... Great games will use move what did MS show for Kinect?!!! SO since you can not talk about the games you TRY to go with price?! :) :D

also how big is your place many people with a small apatment Livingroom will be hard if possible at all to have4 people looking all crazy at once! And with the price of 150.00 it will be hard for Casual gamers to pony up the money more so if they already have a Wii.

Move games = 39.99$ though. Huge advantage over MS unless they decide to follow Sony.

IMO the entry price for Move is the same as Kinect. 100$ pack with PSeye and 1 Move + another 50$ Move for those dual Move games = 150$, just like Kinect.

Kinect is cheaper than Wii and Move......unless Kinect has a huge failer rate and or Kinect has no Games to justify the Purchase.

For real most of the games that was shown for Kinect you could find on the Wii.

Does it really matter? We're arguing a mere $10-$20 for two players to play Move vs Kinect. Let's argue the fact that you can actually play hardcore games with Move and not Kinect. Resident Evil 5, Killzone 3, MLB The Show, SOCOM 4.....cmon now, isn't it about the games? If people want either of these they're gonna buy them no matter the price. You've got to remember there are games that use two wands, so realisticly for a 1 player experience you will need the eye 100, two wands, 100, and navigation controller, 30, for 1 or 2 people to play. Honestly kinect is really the best choice, it won't work for core games so they'll probably keep the controller in adding in some kinect features, and you can shove an entire family in front of kinect to play and have fun.

Um, if Kinect supports 4 players, cows don't have much of an argument; move IS more expensive. It's just damage control. Both are lame though, and MS's kinect themed press conference made me embarrassed to own a 360.

kinect is mainly software though, likely then can get it out cheap since its really 3 cameras in a device that just feeds info into 360/pc, I think 150 is reasonable for the crazy software behind it but since they ripped out the processor kinects hardware design is just cameras, soooo,

Other than SF4, I have zero multiplayer games for the PS3. PS3 is a single player or online play console. I don't plan on playing Socom or KZ3 with other people, so all I need is the one controller.

How many people have a PS Eye?

Really now.

If you just own a PS3, you need to pay ~$80-90 for the hardware to be able to play Move games. Let's not be silly.

Cherokee_Jack

Well it still ends up being cheaper.

Uh, that's cool.

Slightly cool but not that cool.

[QUOTE="genaroll"] Ha playing a shooter with move on single player will be good but when you get online don't bother.genaroll

If you're using move for a shooter online, you're going to pwn anyone still using tank-like dual analog.

How much you wanna bet that will never happen.Dual shock owns the move controller.

It's pretty much universally accpeted that Mouse/KB > Motion Controls >>>>>>> Dual Analog

Both aren't cheap. Both are expensive and not worth it!

Hmmmm

PrimeSense reps also told me that the camera can "see" any number of people on the screen -- you can fit as many people in that camera as possible, and the computer will see all of them and can even recognize them as human shapes. But it can only run calculations on two people at a time, just because the processing power required to track all of the body's locations and movements is so great

Animal-Mother

SO by that logic 360 is 10X as expensive as PS3, given all the batteries repair, rebought games. Plug and play packs.

Yeah, and don't forget how many better games it has. Sheesh, all that money!

lol So now you think it's $140 to get everything? I like how you say " you have to buy the combo for $100". You don't. If you look at everything individually it comes out to $110. If you get the combo with the game it would be $130. Move controller ($50), Eye camera ($32), Pointer ($30) = $112 I got all these prices from amazon. Secondly, Natal game play has been utter **** compared to Move so stop with the it's more fun to play with four people at once crap........judging from what I saw Kinect is horrible whether you play it with one or four.
