. Afterall, it was a "Sonic and the Black Knight" clone.

To be honest, I was about to type a long response until I saw that. If you think Kirby's Epic Yarn is a Sonic and the Black Knight clone, then you're either a troll or someone who can't tell the obvious differences between a 2-D platformer that has a puffball made of yarn and a 3-D game that features a hedgehog with a sword based on the King Arthur legends.
Really, this takes the cake. For someone who claims to be a "real gamer", its amazing you think two games that don't share anything in common would be clones of each other.
Oh wait, I get it. KEY must be a clone because Kirby gets transported to another world. Just like Sonic in Black Knight! Man, I wonder why Sega is not suing Nintendo for everything they are worth! After all, a protagonist being teleported to another world is not a common theme in any from of media! I mean, the games share nothing else in common, so that's gotta be it. Darn Nintendo, always ripping their ideas off.
For the sake of argument, I just reread his post and I'm fixing an error I made. Apparently, he claimed Return to Dreamland was the clone of Sonic and the Black Knight. Of course, this ruins his argument(if you can call it that) since Return to Dreamland and Sonic and the Black Knight share nothing in common. Again, I find it amazing a so-called "real gamer" can't tell the difference between a 2-D Platformer and a 3-D action game.
Well, unless you count Meta Knight carrying around a sword and Kirby having his sword copy power. Because you know, characters in video games never had swords before Sonic and the Black Knight. Which means, any character that uses swords is a clone of Sonic since he's clearly an innovator that everyone else copies.
Darn Nintendo, when will they learn to innovate? Its not like they had anyone who carried around a sword in their games before Sonic and the Black Knight....
