Knack II...might be in production?

Urgh, the first game was so terrible.

Watch the lems flock to this like flies on shit after the rough week they had from losing all their exclusives to PC and the PS4 winning by 110k in January.

@charizard1605: I got that shit for free with my PS4 (lady actually gave me £40 cause the last PS4 console only bundle ran out) and even then I felt ripped off, bloody awful game.

Considering Shuhei Yoshida DC'd the first game, I'm NOT surprised.

I agree, if they made it a proper bloody game then yes, this news could be much more interesting and exciting but the original Knack is one of the worst launch games I've ever played.

It also sickens me that it outsold Mario 3D World here in the UK.

Nah, it only outsold it for I think three weeks lol. And a lot of that came down to bundling.

SM3DW still outsold it in the end in the UK, I think.

The DC for the first one's terribleness was pretty funny.

"It's like Crash Bandicoot!" It's not like Crash Bandicoot.

"It's supposed to be for kids. What do you expect?" Implying that kid's games have to be garbage.

Knack gets bashed so much and laughed at that it has become underrated. The game is fun to play especially with co op.

The second game needs to have a more unique art style and some soul to it because the first really lacked in that regard.

I was excited for Knack before it came out. It had been four years since the last good 3D platformer on PlayStation and I was excited for a new one.

Imagine my disappointment when I found out that was an outright lie and it's just an abominably shitty beat 'em up. Sigh.

Why...

If they are making sequel they must see some potential to improve significantly on the first game. It did pretty good sales too. Knack getting a sequel while a unique IP like Puppeteer is dead is unfortunate though.

@bunchanumbers: Well I got Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack at launch as my 2 games to play when I pick up my PS4 on that day. I will say that Knack was aiming for the kids from what I play 2 years ago, the game isn't the best but not the worst from my experience but nevertheless, there's always room for improvements. If Sony believes there's redemption for another Knack game, I'm down with that. Everyone deserves a second chance right? I believe in second chances.

Knack is currently $8 on PSN (flash sale), should i pick it up?

It's somewhat not bad, this game was aim for kids which is basically Knack was trying to be the next Mario game but it's tedious but it sure wasn't worth the full price back then, but for only $8 on PSN, I say go for it. I give Knack a 6/10.

The sad part is, Shuhei Yoshida himself played that latter card.

You do like bad games, so yeah.
