Those fanboys were honestly so shaken up by the news they had to ask about Kojima's partnership with Sony and he reassured them it was fine. I thought Playstation had the best exclusives and ecosystem out there, why so insecure over one dev collaborating with the competition?

actually I was expecting when uncle phil came on stage yesterday, he would be dropping megatons, but not even I expected the atlus persona and kojima backstabbing. Uncle Phil sure came out hard, and left the cows crying salty tears. Oof.

@x_hedon: Kojima Production has never been absorbed into Sony's acquisition and people tend to forget Kojima is an independent developer so he can go wherever the money & tech is...not Sony.

Sony fanboys will be fine and Kojima still has a love for Sony.

And maybe down the road, Kojima can port the game to PS if he wants. Who knows. The good news here, at least for Kojima fans, is they get a new game.

Will this reach the dizzying heights of the days when Final Fantasy XIII and Devil May Cry 4 went multi platform? Only time will tell. 😅

I think people are putting too much weight on yesterday's announcement. Kojima said he's working with cloud tech and even Phil said he's collaborating with Xbox studios. None of them said anything about exclusivity which they would have if that was the case. The game could very well be multiplat.

The fact that he had to do this is just so damn sad. How do people not understand that Kojima is independent and can make games wherever he wants?
