On top of Metal Gear Rising for consoles, I doubt they'll be making another Metal Gear Solid (or whatever) game concurrently.
I'm guessing that the third announcement will be something from a different Kojima series (though not a new IP).

The damage control in regards to this is hilarious! Even if there is an announcement of MGS 5 for PS3 tomorrow, when Rising is released and it makes so much more money as a result of being multiplat, do you really think Konami will leave MGS 5 money on the table to stay "loyal" to Sony? It doesn't make financial sense. This is the beginning of the future of multiplat MGS. cainetao11

To be honest it depends on what type of game rising is. If its a NG type game. 360 owners will expect the next metal gear to be exacly like that. Which it wont.

i hope mgs raiden and psp games are being developed by b teams, and they announce the true mgs 5 being done by kojima, but who knows.

Wow, i can imagine how confused 360 gamers are goin be when they play MGS:R. Withou mgs4, itll be hard to pick up the pieces. Sorry if i'm biased, but i believe that when 360 gamers play mgs:r and if its played he same way as mgs4, they'll put it down simply because its so plot driven. This is not something i conjured up myself, but many 360 owners have said he same, where mgs4 was not worth it to buy a ps3 simply because its a 5 or 6 hour movie. With that mentality, i really wonder how 360 owners will like mgs:r unless they only want to use it to claim ownage, which is honestly really sad.

I don't know why people are so confident that MGS5 is going to be announced when Kojima said that cycle of games has ended. I think all we're going to see in MGS4's aftermath are branch-offs like this one.
