Its better than paying $150-180 for one game that gives the illusion of being three.

Given that you haven't played the single player campaigns you have absolutely no idea what quantity of content you're getting for your $60. Given that Starcraft II is mostly about multiplayer, you're also getting far, far more content out of it than you do almost any other game. We can't call shenanigans until they actually happen. Until Starcraft II releases content-less expansions at $60 a pop, you don't have a leg to stand on.
The modern Blizzard is nothing like the Blizzard we knew and loved back when the original SC or Diablo II came out. This is exactly the kind of ideas Bobby Kotick would come up with to make more money... and since its Blizzard, they get a free pass.

What on earth are you talking about? They're giving people who already subscribe to WoW free access to Starcraft. They can still buy the game if they want, it's not like they added a subscription fee to Starcraft. If anything, they just made WoW cheaper. Hating Kotick is one thing, arbitrarily attacking Starcraft is another.
That's still a pretty good deal...I mean, I'm guessing that lots of people there already have a WoW account (11 million subscribers...I'm pretty sure a couple million of them are in Korea :P). Still, the Koreans are some hardcore Starcraft players...I think it's well deserved :D.Here's a link
You need a WoW account though to get the free SC II.

You gave Call of Duty World at War a 9.5, Starcraft a 5, Warcraft 3 a 6, and Counter-Strike a 2. G to the T to the F to the you KNOW!Only sc fanboys and noobs pay $60 to buy a starcraft HD (starcraft 2).
it should be sold at $15-20 like those remake HD games on xbox live.
lol after 12 years, it has nothing new, still same shxt. Meanwhile, fps and rpg has made a lot of new elements and features.

Its another way to get more Wow accounts and user's for some reason, funny thing peopl are stupid enough to buy into it, its either 60 dollars on the day it comes out, or you can get a "FREE" copy if you have a WoW account and pay 15 dollars a month fo the rest of your life. sounds stupid if you ask me.Sniping_CrowbarYou can buy 1 month at a time you know... you don't have to sign on for huge periods.
It's not "our" game, sorry to disappoint.its our game and we dont..because...?
(sorry if old)

Maybe they're afraid that SC2 will put a permanent dent in the Korean WoW player base, so they kinda bundle them up together.ManicAceMaybe, gets people to keep their WoW accounts when they might have dropped them for SC2. It's also possible it just gives more valuable to people who are using internet cafes and the like, or perhaps a future where Battlenet 2 is a subscription service, i.e. you pay $15 a month and you get access to a bunch of games (WoW, SC2, Diablo 3, etc...) instead of just a single game. Starcraft 2 is going to be ridiculously huge if it's basically going to start with every WoW player in Korea having the game, plus everyone who picks up SC2 globally.

[QUOTE="PSdual_wielder"]Have fun waiting, you'll probably feel lonely for a few years. :PLethalhazard
Either way there's no solid proof of them scamming us quite yet for SC2 :P
Its already a scam. No LAN, and it costing 60 dollars is proof.
South Korean might be Blizzard's most beloved country, with SC as their national gaming competition.Kleeyook
They never said it's going to be 60$ a pop, they said the other two are going to be priced as expansion packs. They claim the content will be similar to that of what the frozen throne did, except times two.[QUOTE="Lethalhazard"]
