KOTOR = Boring, MassEffect= ?

I know that many many people are big fans of KOTOR, and claim that it is their favorite starwars game(s)..Am i the only one that was bored to hell with this game? My friends went ape **** for it when it released. I even bought the game to try to get into it. But this game was just so boring, it wasn't bareable.Mass Effect seems to be set up the same as KOTOR in gameplay. I really hope the try to appeal to gamers like me, that want a little more than glorified turn-based combat.PS.......I am a Lemming so this isn't some fanboy rant....
