I remember when everyone said WTF you bought a 1k GPU... I just LOL. Now look damn thing is near maxing out on these new games.

These consoles are going to be around for a longgggg time. Prob 15+ years since they expect to sell 1 billion of them. While they are stagnate and old... I'll be playing Superior versions on my PC.

This single common Helghast grunt is made of 40k polys and 6x 2k texture maps, coupled with the new lighting engine it looks far better than the likes of Crysis 3, BF4 and Metro Last Light enemy characters. Plus you an have 60 of them on screen, KZSF is simply a graphics beast.

I only care for the SP DLC. But for $12 you can't go wrong.

A proper GI solution still looks far better than a cheap hack like the one used in Crysis 3, it's mathematically better and more real if you will. There has been plenty of instances where people have pointed out "Area lights" in C3 was not showing proper Area Light attributes.

Someone is mad their precious next-gen exclusive can't do anything in realtime. I hope you remember your bet gpuking even though I know you will not accept the defeat.

Give me the alternative realtime GI solution in practice or shut the hell up. GG with all the funding from Sony can't even do basic things in realtime and I just haven't even touched the simulation part.

I dunno why everyone is praising Metro ll for its graphics....I think it looks like sh*t for a 2013 game.

Modded Crysis 2 and BF3 look better.Hell,even modded crysis 1 looks better.

It doesn't have to be in 4k to look good. these are 1080p shots anyway. The gameplay footage looked the same as those and GG would even implement a better AA solution at launch. Your are saltier than the pacific ocean.

Once again it doesn't say 60 Helghast on screen at once.  It just says 60 AI characters.  You are reaching for something that isn't there.

And it won't. I'm guessing KZSF will be one of the best looking console games out there. But its still going to get smoked by a capable PC. Its just how it works. Doesn't make the game any less fun. This is coming from a console player.

Well yeah, it's hard to reach that kind of quality in a Youtube video, not to mention the bullshots were in 4K

Still as a console owner I would much rather see something that is more like gameplay than something that won't be near what the finished product looks like.

Cows hyped killzone 2 bullshots and then when it released it was like my screen was covered in vaseline.

KZ3 was the same.

Why should this one be any different?

What does it being at it's native res not having anything to do with not being a bullshot, they are plenty of games that had bullshots at their native res. Also, these screens have no jaggies, which is funny because taken at the time of these shots they use FXAA, and everyone knows FXAA is a post process AA that tends to blur the screen to hide jaggies in general but you'll still see jaggies because it only works on certain objects.

Also these look sharper than what's in the video. It's obviously downsampled to 1080p from 4kres as well.:lol:Â
