Both are crappy over hyped games that both look good. While KZ2 is technically better I prefer the look of Gear's crisper visuals amd textures (I HATED the blurring effects used in KZ2 to hide its faults).

I think KillZone2 is the better all around game too.

U3 engine is becoming a little old today . Yes, it's being perfected with Gears 2 and has incredible looking textures...but Killzone 2 has better graphics .

Prime example the map Courtyard on the new Gears 2 map pack looks better then any level of KZ2 and this is an online map. The lighting and snow and textures blend so beautifully on this map. And when you run it almost looks photo realistic it looks so good.

we can still debate and have discussions but in a mature way.. but you're right here its an alternate reality called SW so logic, respect & maturity are RARE :P

still though judging by games such as Uncharted2, GOW3 etc KZ2 wont be console graphics king for long ;)

Crysis>Gears>KZ2=Visually, gameplay=Crysis>KZ2>Gears...yes I know I am an Xbox fanboy...but don't think for a minute that I don't respect the PS3. I own all three, I play all three...It's opinion but on my tv (Samsung LN52A650) all with HDMI, that is how it clearly looks.

Uncharted > killzone 2> mgs4> gears 2 graphically

as games mgs4> uncharted > killzone 2 > gears 1 and 2.

Oh, and Killzone 2 does look better than Gears 2. I own both and played em both on my Sony Bravia 1080p.

I wasn't very impressed with either one of them to be honest however. They're not bad, but they could be much better looking on my PC. :P

I think KZ2 is more graphically impressive than GeoW2. I don't even like the game that much and didn't even finish it but I'm expecting that the later stages have even more impressive visuals than what I've played so far. Own both as well btw.
