La Noire confirmed for PC

... Ok... Seeing quotes like this has me worried.

"Though the original was developed by Australian studio Team Bondi, the PC edition of L.A. Noire is being ported over by Rockstar Leeds. According to Rockstar Games, the Windows version of the game "will run on a wide range of PCs" and support both keyboard remapping and gamepads"

I would not pre-order this if I were you. I sense another Saints Row 2 coming...

Oh **** yes!!!! I was going to buy a console for this, super happy I didn't. I will have to drop some games due to this and pick them up later. I must have this R* game now!! I'll trade The Witcher 2 for this any day of the week.

tbh in terms of narative and all that LA Noire was a better game.Tbh i found it better than both GTA 4 and RDR and i liked both.

its a fairly long game without dlc despite the first couple desks feeling disjointed.I really enjoyed it and it filled that gap left by the likes of games focusing on the "bad" side of crime".But at the same time the detective aspect could have been improved, despite that i enjoyed it because it was really a new take on crime in sandbox games and in general just diffrent xD.

Thank god it's this and not RD:R. Consolites can keep that ****! :P

Cool, cool I wish it was RDR though. LA Noire was stellar in places and overall good, but I would have loved to play RDR @ great graphics settings.

All im saying is the dectective jobs in the homicide desk will feel very linear, but theres still the whole city to explore (think mafia 2 x 20 size) and it can be really enjoyable and paint a really good landscape in the game especially in the arson desk but i wont spoil it.

Tbh i love this game if i have the cash come winter i will be getting a new rig for this and battlefield tbh i really think this game is something special much like any early Tarrantino film :P

im betting it will be hacked/modded to be more like GTA in the 1940's, like everyone wanted

also i wonder how the graphics will look on PC, i doubt Mafia 2 level, well Mafia 2 didnt look that good, but dem physx

Great news... Loks like i'll be buying The Witcher 2 again for 360, and L.A. Noire again for PC :P

Simple answer: because I want to.

Me and my buddy are getting it as he doesn't have a gaming PC, so i'm getting it with him. Plus I don't mind supporting CDProjekt getting their game onto consoles.

Great for PC owners. Strange that R* didn't put RDR on PC, though. However, you guys really aren't missing out on much. I'd imagine the game would look really good on PC, but better graphics wouldn't make the game any less boring.

Now we will be able to see the facial animations at 60fps, as it meant to be.

Im not interested in the game...played it for the first part of the case...it was more fun to watch my friend play than to actually play.

PC gamers anticipating a console port? Did hell freeze over? :P

I'll probably get it for PC now. Just hope they don't pull a GTA and do a sloppy job on the port.

im glad i waited instead of getting the ps3 version. getting this for sure when its hella cheap on steam. hope red dead is next
