I can't believe the TC is even put a LoZ and a Metriod game on the same level as R&C and Liar.
Only cows where expecting Liar to be any good; seriously, just by watching one pre-release video of it, I could tell it was gonna suck, and it did. R&C at best was going to be AA game, but of course, Sony fans felt that since they didn't have a killer app they should overhype the game to epic proportions.
As for LoZ and Metriod, cows can use that as an excuse because those arebig games - huge games if you ask me. Considering those two are part of a the three pronged attack that Nintendo has coming from their in house developement; dam right they should be singled out and scrutinized more than those crappy PS3 games.

Granted, Zelda is the biggest of said releases, but both it and Metroid were reviewed as "great" here. 0.2 points off of AAA really isn't a particularly big flop; it's only big because it's Zelda (and because fanboys like to go overboard about things). Lair, on the other hand, wasn't on the same level as Zelda in terms of influence, but it was supposed to be a masterpiece, and a game to push PS3 consoles, and to show the system's power. Getting a 4.5 is about as bad as you can do in that situation; Metroid getting an 8.5 can't even compare. 8.5 says the game is excellent andcertainly worth getting, but has some flaws; 4.5 says the game is crap.
