I mean seriously Lair and uncharted might look pretty but the gameplay for both games look extremely boring. Uncharted will score maybe a 8.0 if its lucky and Lair will score 7.2 here. Thats just my opinions. Now Socom, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword and Ratchet and clank are totally different stories, those games will score Low-Mid AAA easily. But Lair and Uncharted will be PS3s 2 biggest flops this year.. Mark my words. and no im not a blind fanboy, im just calling it how i see it because im very much looking forward to Socom, Warhawk, heavenly sword and ratchet and clank. Lair and uncharted will be graphically impressive but extremely boring gameplay.
not hyping up either but really looking forward to lair as a gamer love to play games with dragons sorta like drakengard those games so this is a must buy for me.
you are looking forward to warhawk more then you are lair and uncharted? come on dude give me a break. lair and heavenly sword are two of the most anticipated games of this year and both look amazing. i am especially excited for uncharted after seeing the new gameplay videos.

Lair will be an extraordinary technical showpiece for the game with top notch audio and "so-so" gameplay.
Uncharted on the otherhand already looks extraordinary and should only improve, it will most likely be an amazing game in all regards. Heck, we haven't had a good Indiana Jones game in around a quarter of a century now, it looks like the next best thing to one.Â

what do you expect ? its the lemming's fault, all they talk about is any game that doesnt blow away gears graphics is a flop. they set the precedent and it is a sad one indead, cus a game doesnt have to look like that to be good or better
I actually like the gameplay look in Uncharted. The cinematic quality looks seeminglessly well integrated into gameplay. Makes the game feel more alive.
Have you seen the gamplay to Uncharted? I mean looks very fun to me. People cant say gears looks more fun since generaly they have the same duck and cover gamplay, but Uncharted has some cool hand to hand stuff.

So Uncharted is boring, but you think GeOW isn't? Lair looks pretty fun, but it'd probably get boring after a few days, I'd play it off and on.Â
Lair's not looking like it's for everyone. Gameplay wise, you're into it cause you were a Rogue Squadrant fan. Art wise, you're into it cause it's Lord or the Rings. Personally, I'm into both of those things, so I'm really into Lair.
BUT UNCHARTED BORING????!!!! Give me a break, that's going too far. The trailer looks incredible and it's done by freaking Naughty Dog. Forget Crash (good series or not) let's just think Jak here for a second. Jak games were incredible and quite frankly, never boring. Don't think for a second this game will be a let down, it will be one of the PS3's saving graces come Holiday time.
All of the hype for these games stems from the Sony fanboys being hypocritic. Last Gen it was " Gameplay is more importatnt than graphics". But now that they feel their console is the most powerful, it is now" the 360 cant do these graphics" Sony fanboy wants these games to succeed so badly because they ned them to. The PS3 is lacking in big exclusives and if these two games fail in the least, the PS3 will be doomed for a long time to come!
Gears of War didn't look so high on the gameplay bar until I actually played the full game. Yes, I do agree both games look boring, but developer backround and huge budget is enough to keep me interested. Nothing wrong with giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I just which cows gave that same respect to developers like Silicon Knights, EPIC and Mistwalker.

to me uncharted looks like Gears of War type game.....if that game had boring gameplay I suppose this one will be the same for you. Lair.....you are looking forward to Warhawk but not Lair lol?
I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this is yours. The fact you admit that the other games look like AAA means you are more than likely not a fanboy so I'm not sure why people are claiming you are. Sometimes people just don't like certain types of games. That's why it's a must for the PS3 to get a wide variety of titles to target everyone.

I said the exact same thing about Alan Wake and Mass Effect. They look good, but look boring.Â

Lair, I can somewhat imagine. but Uncharted? Are you serious? Not only is this game coming from a developer who has never developed a dud, but none of us have played it yet. You're judging it on how it "looks".Â
