Lair is going to be one of the biggest flops of all time

Doesn't that belong to Zelda TP??

zelda tp was hyped a looong time by sheep as a GOTY and it failed , not even AAA and on top of it GC outscored the wii version that by sheep it was supposed to be better because of the wiimoteLimbutus

This was cleared up months ago when the reviews were released. Though the NGC version scored higher, the wii version is listed as being the best version(note the "best!" tag). Why? Different console, different standards.

ANyways, as far as system wars is concerend, TP was a pretty big flop. However, the difference here is that TP scored a great here, amazingly well in almost every other review source, aquired numerous game of the years, and is currently the highest rated next gen game on gamerankings. That is to say it is an amazing game. Lair/Blue Dragon could still have a chance to be amazing, but their EGM reviews do not bode well for their future..they could be quite poor games.

I guess it comes down to what you care more about. "ownage" in system wars(ie gamespots score vs the predicted value) or if the game is actually amazing. It's ridiculuos that people in the thread are rebutting with a simple we only care about GS's score.. for your ownage system i understand.. but is that all you guys care about? What about the games actual quality?

Wasn't that hyped AAA AND Halo KILLER! And it got a B score here. Yeah. Biggest flop in history (TP was big, but not nearly as big as Killzone)

Sadly? I'm gonna plotz I'm so excited he got booted. One of the worst sheep here, and that's saying something.

Anyway, well cows did this with Mass Effect threads, and now they're getting it in return for a much, much bigger flop, Lair. A game that's virtually forgotten and tanked financially, meanwhile Mass Effect already sold 1 mil. copies and people are anxious for the sequels. Meanwhile Factor 5 is thinking of devving for the Wii. Oh how things have changed. :lol:
