Of course it did. All jokes aside, it may hold the title for a little longer. For consoles anyway.

Its two different games inGears you fight against 8 enemy on the screen in lair you fight against thousand enemies. I don't even get how you can compare them.

yah i will admit it. its a great looking game graphically. there is tons of others that can compete with it in september october and november though.

This is damage control. We discussion about graphics, and all you can mustard up is you have the ability to play the game. Irrelevant to the topic.

Every time I see screens of Gears, I am less and less impressed.

Annyway. Lair doesn't look insanely good as some people say, there are some little hitches here and there, but overall it looks good.

I agree that Lair does look better, but I hope you're just comparing graphics.

Both games are two completely different genres, so their gameplay shouldn't be compared.

right you never said console. plus lets all hype a game that we only seen a cgi trailer in e3 long time ago. yet they havent proven themselves to be good developers when it comes to fps games. kz1 and shellshock nam ring a bell. :roll:

No.. Posting screen shots of an unreleased game and claiming how it's somehow "better" than an already massively successful game is damage control my friend. Give me a call when the game actually comes out then we can do battle..

Again you fail to grasp the post. It's a Graphics vs. Graphics comparison. Not who sold the most, which one is better, or innovative. It's simple a Lair looks better than gears post. Give me a call when you are able to grasp this concept.
