Lair Looks Way Better then Gears of War!! 56k Warning

I don't think Lair would be constantly hated on if it wasn't for the PS3. I bet if it was for the 360 all the Xbox owners would be hyping it and saying its graphics are awesome.Vyyral

i dont think so. you dont see them hyping every single 360 exclusive games like the cows do with their ps3 games. you dodnt see ppl hyping shadowrun or upcoming games like tenchu z.

More FPS? that's all you guys have. The PS3 is going to be getting FPSs AND other types of games as well. And I'm not talking 3rd party stuff. Lair, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank, and Warhawk. How many FPSs can you guys play?

Yes but Lair actually looks very good graphically, and is from a proven developer known for making AAA flight combat games.

Yes but Lair actually looks very good graphically, and is from a proven developer known for making AAA flight combat games.

i rather wait till the games comes out and judge it for myself afterwards. the gameplay video i have seen has been a turn off for me (gameplay wise).

Wins what? Compared to gears? Hardly.

But if your talking about winning the "Muddiest graphics/art style" contest than yah, lair wins hands down.

I am not saying liar does not look good, because it does. The main thing it is missing right now is proper lighting and atmosphere. Lots of things look flat like out dated computer games. Atmosphere adds so much realism, and so far Liar is sucking in that department.

Some of the textures up close look pretty good though.

You're terribly wrong. If you've played gears of war,you can see how good the texture are and the modeling is.

Lairs a veryd detailed and good looking game, to bad the gameplay killed it. Gears has its fair share of ugly textures and flaws. both look great, but Lair seems to pack in more detail, IMO...expeically on the dragon model etc. and lairs a much bigger game with MANY more enmies on screen.
