Ok, with all the back-and-forth going on this gen about graphics, i was wondering, what was the graphics king of last gen?? What last-gen games do you think still hold up well? Post Pics of your vote for "Last Gen Graphics King"
Riddick
Chaos Theory

I'd go with Resident Evil 4. That game pushed the GC and PS2's to it's limits. CleanPlayer
This, and God of War II.
You posted the PC versions, of course they're gonna look good. :|
NGB had the best graphics last gen. as well as Fable 2 & MGS3.

No he's right. I played and owned both versions of RE 4 and the PS2 had some horrible shadowing on Leon. It was actually so bad that I at times thought my component cables were going bad and had to put another game in to test and see.

Doom 3 doesn't look that bad despite some horrendously low-res textures.
I wouldn't call it last gen graphics king (I personally thought Half-Life 2 or Far Cry looked better), but it used some visual techniques that have held up pretty well.
lol, those are Xbox 1 screenshots lol, the PC versions look way better than that, with more AA I own the Xbox version of Riddick and it does NOT look like those screenshots you posted. There is ZERO AA in the Xbox version and it did not look that clean. That is the PC version[QUOTE="LeGoofyGoober"]

Looking at the top post, I think chaos theory actually looks better than double agent. But that could be just me.

It looks like a Wii game!!
More like better than most Wii games
It's one of those rare games that will go down in history as one of the best looking, probably even years and years from now. Gorgeous game.wind waker still looks goos to this day. In fact im going to go out on a limb on say that it is the best looking Cell-shaded game ever made imo

Doom3 on Xbox looked pretty awesome.
not bad considering the Xbox had a Pentium/Celeron hybrid 733Mhz CPU
only 64 MB RAM & the NV2A 233mhz GPU was a modified Geforce 3 (with some Geforce4 features but nowhere near the same bandwidth)
how on earth did they get it to run on Xbox????
