I used to work for them years ago. It's part of the job for them to bug you and we were often incentivized to do it when I was there. Maybe she was overzealous in her sales pitch, but you gotta understand that's just the way they operate. You are more than welcome to take your business online where you aren't pressured by a games advisor :).

thats their job man relax. its not that serious. honestly tho i only go to gamestop over amazon for games cuz i have the option of choosing not to get that particular game i preordered

lol. Went gamestop today. I wasn't harassed... IDK what wrong with people gamestops. The 3 stores i have gone to I never have issue. They say what they suppose to just like any other job "want to pre order anything while you are here?" i simply say no. Thats end of it k2theswiss

Happened to me when i went to purchase TLOU as well except the guy was spamming me for minutes about their 50% Sony headphones. Im not annoyed by it tho, i smiled at his face (showing my superior male dominance!!) and walked out the store while he was still talking to me and looking at my back. Be polite when you go buy crap in gamestop, ignore those b*tches :)silversix_

Meh, frack Amazon. Not worth the 5-8 day wait (free shipping) or spending money on shipping and handling which just makes it unnecessary money spending. I use to shop from Amazon A LOT while I was working in the middle of BFN in Wyoming, when the closes place that sold a game was 100 miles away.

Just went to Gamestop yesterday.

Walked into store and went to counter
Ask for game
Asked if I wanted any preorders with that
Say no, pay, leave.
Return later cause I wanted a different game instead, didn't open the one I bought earlier
Get exchange, walk out

It's not just customers they harass, they do the same with publishers for exclusive pre-order DLC.

Very lame practices, you made the right decision to stop supporting them.

No, I'm pretty sure they read these forums and do it for shits and giggles.

It's their jobs to push preorders and reservations you shouldn't blame the employee's because management forces it onto them or shows them the door. That being said you should go to Bestbuy, despite what people whine about I never have a problem there and my local store is really friendly.

I'm sure its not her fault. She's being pressured by her superiors, I'm sure of it. Its happening to me aswell
