RE:5 and DMC4 are multiplats (but ofcourse they would put them as PS3) furthermore I could care less what they want because any1 who doesn't have Mass Effect in their top 20 most wanted is not a gamer

Yea it's kind of strange.
I think they have seperate polls for multi-platform games on both consoles. But the Japanese aren't really bothered with the 360, so they all vote for the PS3 version.
Hilarious. Is this supposed to prove something? All I see is more hype for the Potentialstation 3. Want to actually play games rather than just wait for them in anticipation? Buy an XBOX360. I could care less what Famitsu's most wanted are. All I care about is what I can play now. The PS3 can keep gathering dust until it actually RELEASES SOMETHING GOOD.

......I don't like Famitsu. It is a dark place. Good work for PS3 though, almost dominating the top of the list. Except for the multiplat "Biohazard 5"......... wierd.

Eh, just look around here. Many people want PS3 games to go multiplat so what does that tell you? alot of sequel of last gen's PS exclusives are wanted games by all unbiased gamers IE MGS4 and FFXIII

You bring up an excellent point. I don't know if games will drive sales for any console. The 360 has a huge library of good games and it seems as if the average consumer could care less about it. On the other hand, the Wii is trouncing the competition and there are only a handful of good games for it. Consequently, I honestly don't know if the system with the best games will win this generation or even be rewarded with decent consumer reception.

The PS3 dominates the list mostly because the projects were announced and in development before it launched. Those games will definitely help the PS3, but I can only see the PS3 sales spiking upwards before coming back down again. There just isn't enough casual appeal for the PS3 and most of those games on the list are for hardcore gamers.

This just goes to show you that PS3 is still a very much loved console in Japan but its suffering at the moment because of lack of quality games which will soon be fixed.
And yet what's at the top of the list? *cough* DragonQuest IX *cough*. And what platform did Square-Enix decide to put that on instead of the PS3? *cough* Nintendo DS *cough*
Nintendo has their fair share of titles on the list as well you know. Although I admit there are a lot of decent games coming to the PS3, there just aren't many out right now.
