In actuality, there are hardcore games coming that will use Kinect
Fable 3, Milo, Child of Eden, MGS Rising (hinted), Forza4, Star Wars, SEGA confirmed Kinect title etc
And how do we know for fact that Kinect wont be used later in many more hardcore games ?
Move has zero hardcore games at its launch too as it seems, so shouldnt it be equally bashed ? what happens in 2011-2012 is irrelevant, since MS may come up with 10 hardcore Kinect games by that time
a_simple_gamer
Are you seriously calling games like Milo hardcore :? No that doesn't work. And that is a nice list and all but it still has less hardcore support than move with Socom, LBP2, Killzone 3, RE5, Heavy Rain, GT5, Dead Space:E, you see where I'm going with this.
No, i dont really, i only see some old games not created for Move use it a little, that is a bit far from having games made for Move specifically
Milo is a Lionhead game, it will probably be ashardcoreas i can imagine would be, if you dont consider it hardcore just because has a little boy, then you just called the whole zelda series and a million other games casual
So, besides Sorcery, that is not a Move launch title and we dont even know when it will release, what else does Move have this year as hardcore Move stuff ? Old games ? That hardly counts imo
Well as long as it has support for it, it counts for me, doesn't have to be a launch title.

Lolwut?Your entire premise of this thread is the crappy Japanese Move launch line-up and you're dismissing anything that won't be a launch title or isn't built from the ground up for it even though they're core titles...
Bu..bu...but....
You list 5 games that won't be available at launch with Kinect including the uber-hardcore Milo, one game that wasn't built for it either and one game that isn't even remotely confirmed as Kinect title.

AndI didn't know that Japanese homes have such spacious rooms too :)
No nav controller in $100 bundle = me not buying Move
thelastguy
There is no Nav in the bundle ?????
Are you sure ?
I called it:) I said the majority of games on move were party games...
WilliamRLBaker
Wow how did you guess that? Was it the fact that wii is such a success or was it because they are following MS and trying to convert everyone to family games:lol:?
Fact is, PS3 Move will have games for everyone but with a focus on family games at launch. Go figure.
Move will probably be an option in almost every game in the near future. See Tiger Woods, MLB The Show, SOCOM4, Killzone 3, NBA 2k11, Gran Turismo 5, and Resident Evil 5 as examples that move can be implemented as an option in any game.
[QUOTE="Diviniuz"]With Heavy Rain, Res 5, Socom supporta_simple_gamer
Those are launch new games for Move ? That is just some gimmick for older titles, not new games designed for Move
So you expect hardcore games to be made only for the Move? You think developers would take the risk and hope that Move will be successful so their game sells, instead of making it compatible with it? People complaining about the launch line-up need to use their brain. I'm not even interested in getting it 'til the price drops, but do you really expect developers to launch their hardcore games that will use the Move(and of course the DS3) at the same time it's released? You'll see a lot more Move compatible games come out within the holiday season and early 2011 after Move comes out - the time that most people who want it will buy it.That's the main problem. I just don't see how it would be worth even close to $30 when it only uses the left side of the DS3 with no motion sensing whatsoever. People will say that you can just use the DS3 instead, but it wouldn't be the same. Sony should pack it into the bundle if they want Move to sell.No nav controller in $100 bundle = me not buying Move

You know if sony is serious about the Move they are going to need to take a risk and bundle the navi plus another move controller for 150 all together.....2 move controllers, camera, navi plus a game......thats win.

Syn_Valence
it stupid you HAVE to buy 2 move controllers, and you need a controller or a sub controller just to play all the games
Not hereThat Kung Fu Rider and Time Crisis 4 looked horrible at E3. Eyepet has been out for ages hasnt it?.

Not impressed with the launch titles, I'll probably wait until Heroes on the Move is released to get my Move controllers.
NoirLamia
I may get it when Sorcery arrives, late 2011, if the game gets good reviews of course
R.U.S.E. - Ubisoft's WWII real-time strategy game - will be playable using Move releasing a few days before the NA launch of Move.
On why it won't be compatible with Kinect the developer offers some insight:
"Unfortunately for Xbox 360 owners, there are no plans to support Kinect. Girard said the stumbling point was having to play standing up while using Microsoft's rival motion-sensing tech."
Lol thats a pretty pathetic bunch of launch titles for Japan. I wonder what the US and EU launch titles will be like? It will either be alot worse or better cause some games might not be localised for japan yet and arent on that list OR sony have crap all to show us and move will fail( in the eyes of the hardcore) in 2010.
All those saying things bout it not being for the hardcore is complete BS. Sony have shown support for HC games by showing that they have it in games like KZ3 and socom at least while the other is showing casual games and have barely even hinted at HC games. MS put their best foot forward and showed us fitness and dance games ONLY, all the other games that were HC were recordings( seriously their hands move after the video). Fable 3 kinect was cancelled if i remember correctly and the only game resembling that looks cool is child of eden SO FAR.

WHAT about the games that will be compatable for it via update??? Heavy Rain is the one I know, I am sure there are more. Also this tread should be in PS3 not system wars (imo) but if you want to make it SW.... my question is, is there any Wii games that are going to be ported to PS3... like Red Steel 2, No more heroes 2, Monster Hunter: TRI, ...

Monster Hunter Tri will never be upon the PS3. Best control set up is with the Controller which PS3 already has. Please Log In to post.
