That's Big Boss. I have only played MGS3 and 4 because I find the first MGS disgusting in terms of gameplay (before MGS3 subsistence that's it).[QUOTE="WilliamRLBaker"]says the guy with a solid snake avatar and signature? sorry but i dont trust those with no originality.blitzcloud
Also, it's called a drawing, made by me... sooo I think it's more original than taking an animated gif you didnt make as avatar.
You drew that? Very nice!
[QUOTE="AlphaGamer469"][QUOTE="DeadSpaceXIII"]We do people always complain about developers, developing for the PS3 when they say it can't be done. You aren't the one developing the game, don't question them unless you know 100%. Get over yourselves. Face it some games can't be done on the weaker 360. Yes thats right I called the 360 weaker then PS3. I don't care if you bring up CPU, GPU, and cell processors, and all that other stuff. Unless you're developing a high end game for yourself instead of reading information on the internet. You'll never know until you do it. The PS3>360. You know why we say PS3=360? Because no developer ever gets the job done 100% on PS3 its always a flaw. Look at TF2, the average person would see TF2 PS3 and TF2 360 and immediately go 360>PS3. When we see high end PS3 titles made right, their is always SOMEBODY who questions that persons words. Well you guys better get used to it because developers are starting to not half-ass PS3 games. Even if LBP was on X-box 360, you guys say its for kids? Well guess what, a majority of kids will obtain a $199 360 with no hdd, so they wouldn't even be able to play LBP. Buying a hdd to play a game is stupid. This is Microsoft's problem not MM's.DeadSpaceXIII
Becasue 99% of those developers are making PS3 exclusive games and obvioulsy just blowing smoke. /argument
When a 360 exclusive dev, don't tell me cows don't come in here screaming BS.
Fact is this game can be done on 360.
Thats your opinion, it isn't a fact.us Find me proof. Barely any 360 developers say it can't be done on 360. Most 360's exclusives are 1st party anyway. Fact is it CAN'T be done on the 360. Get over it. Stop complaining.yes it can be done on a 360 with a harddrive, hence it CAN be done on a 360, noobthere isnt aloud any "hard drive required games" on the 360bigLLLUm, FF11? What about Castlevania: SOTN and Bionic Commando Reloaded, both supposedly too big to download onto memory cards?
I think it can't be done on the 360.
But not because of HDD issues, but because XBL is not user-generated content friendly at all. If Epic couldn't get it done, LBP would have had no chance. And knowing that the lifeblood of LBP is found in its user-generated content, it's fair to say a 360 version was an impossibility.
Slight difference. With games like UT, you need a dedicated outside PC using map-editing software to build custom maps. Wheras with a game like LBP, you use the game itself to build your stuff. Live's good at stuff that comes from the game itself (ie. Forge maps, so LBP-type stuff would fly) but doesn't like stuff that comes from the outside Internet (which is why userland UT maps don't work).I think it can't be done on the 360.

Wouldn't it just be a like Halo 3 File Sharing, but much bigger ?I think it can't be done on the 360.

Because the graphics are so great, right? :roll:krp008If you'd read the article you'd know it was nothing to do with Graphics.
LBP couldn't run on the 360 "as it is", meaning that it cannot run on 360 because it was designed specifically with the PS3 in mind.
this is what MM said in that same interview "The 360 is an incredibly capable machine", guess the fanboy google made that part invisible.
[QUOTE="wiiwillwiiwill"][QUOTE="lesner87"]Ohh crap...Feel sorry for the 360 owners.MS really knows how to hurt people.Imagine a next gen console with no HDD and DVD rom :Dlesner87
budy, pc game don't have blu-ray either, but graphically way better than any next gen console games.
Buddy i own a PC 1500$ rig.And i still would love to switch on my PS3 and play it any day over a pc.Even though the games are expensive but i still prefer PS3.Because it has everything a gamer needs. My rig couldnt even handle Crysis on High and my 500$ ps3 runs everything smooth and fine.
lol buy a real computer.
[QUOTE="Malta_1980"][QUOTE="ps3weee"]Becouse of the harddrive ,,, Not becouse of the rest of the hardware where the power is at.
anyway why care aboute LBP , its a game that should be made for the wii so it could reach the audience it realy targets , and thats kids.
You cant deny that a game where you play as cute dolls and create cute levels is not a game thats meant to appeal to children ...
ps3weee
sure because 5 - 7 year old kids will spend time creating levels and sharing them right, thats why you think LBP is targeted towards kids ???
LBP is a game which can appeal to young & older gamers... Everyone gets interested when games are fun...
Exactly what kids would like to do , create their own levels and share with their friends , kids and creativity goes together perfect, lego is just one example ... kids create their own stuff with legos and are proud of it and then they show it to their firends .... This is defenitly a kids game , a great game for kids , I just cant see an adult spending 3 hours playing with cute dolls and creating cute levels , well thats just mine opinion ...
yeah because no adult can be creative in any way, nor is it possible to just have fun with the premade levels
I hate to say this, but seems like sony developers always claim their exclusive game can't be done on other machine .
while microsoft never claim halo3 or geow can't be done on pc, ps3........
wiiwillwiiwill
if you actually read the full interview they said it could not be done on 360 "as it is". i.e. it's optimised for PS3.This is what they said about the 360 "The 360 is an incredibly capable machine"
Why does any of this matter, its never coming to the 360, so what the hell does it matter if it can be done on it or not? We are never going to be able to find out anyways, so why even bother debating something that won't be done in the first place?
xscrapzx
This.
people that say that lbp couldnt be done on the 360 are delusional. what is so technically demanding about this game that the 360 cant handle.?(i know the dev said its mainly cause of the HDD, but im focusing my statement on the posters here that think its beyond just the HDD)
also, if the 360 can handle far cry 2's map editor, LBP shouldnt be a problem at all
LBP coun't be done on a 360 because it was designed specifically for the PS3. It has nothing to do with anything else. The HD issue is just a preference.
I find the decision of designers repeatedly going into interviews and saying "This game could be only done on a..." Nonsense is silly. It's funny how none of this stuff mattered last gen when the PS2 didn't have an HD at all for years. It's just a bunch of corporate cheerleading that's getting more and more worrysome everytime I hear it. The only purpose it serves is to rile up a bunch of braindead fanboys on the internet.
Yay?
LBP can't be done on 360, and it's not because of the hardrives, it's because of Microsoft online service that allows virtually no leeway when it comes to mods, or free downloadable content.
The same problem happened with Unreal Tournament 3, and Microsoft will never allow something like that because they want money from every single thing, including user-created things.

you can do that with Crysis Warhead. i dont believe thats possible with the original Crysis

Why would a PC be able to run Warhead and not Crysis?
1. Doesn't Warhead look better then Crysis? or atleast marginally better?
2. Don't expansions need the original game also to run the expansion?

First of all I don't get why ogvampire says that it's not possible with a 600-700 PC, the PC I built for my cousin at the same price plays Crysis at high at 1280x1024.
And to respond your questions?
1.Yes, it's supposed to look a bit better, and the game is supposed to run better than the original because it is more optimised (they're using more resource efficient lighting methods ,etc.)
2. Warhead is a standalone expansion.

"The supposedly less hardware-intensive Crysis Warhead is ready to show you what it's made of and will supposedly run quite well on a €600 rig. It may not be as stunning as Crysis, but it won't require a second job to keep happy either"
