They are beta, but they are internal maps that dont have the polish that the 3 beta maps we will be getting may 16th supposibly.  Will have to wait a few more weeks to find out.

You're kidding right? It says "Beta Build" on the screen!!! Sheesh!!.    Have you seen the "Alpha build"? The alpha build looks like slightly improved Halo 2 graphics.  It even says Alphe build on the screen.  I am sorry but the statement you just made is kinda fanboyish.

Different devs have different development cycles. Bungie is pretty reknown to have theyre games look like crap until last minute. Look at the halo 1 vids before it came out, they look absolutely horrible.

i'm afraid that is that case. a new bar has been set interms of graphics with crysis so expect alot of people to have alot of unrealistic expectation for alot of games coming out this generation

go to the part where he looks over the ledge looking at the beach and ocean and tell me that isnt amazing beta graphics! Some textures still look like placeholders but the lighting and HDR make it look so much more realistic
