Yeah.
It looks kinda flat texture wise when your planning it but its loads of fun on the gameplay side and the lighting system is very nicely done for consoles, overall they've done a few nice work arounds to mimic things on the graphics side without it effecting the overall performance of the game.
Its not the greatest graphics i've seen but its definitely a vast improvement on the original.
I don't think it looks graphically better but I can't name any game that comes to scale with the things in R2 as of right now. Those ships are just immense.

On topic, No and Cows do R2 a disservice by trying to compare it to Gears 2 IMHO.
My eyes just bled a rainbow of joy. I can't see anymore! With LBP's cuteness and R2's gorgeous visuals their is just too much awesome going on these days on the PS3.
its a good game you have to be a resistnace fan to like this game if your not you will hate it....its just like the first one just with more ppl and weapons... im enjoying the beta right now

On topic, No and Cows do R2 a disservice by trying to compare it to Gears 2 IMHO.
I loved me some Halo 3. Great single player campaign. I will say that the epic scale of the story never seemed to match that diorama they built for the commercials. Resistance FOM did best H3 in the craziness of how big the battle was around the player. So many bad guys, heroes, and the battlegrounds were pretty huge allowing the player to choose his path through the battle. Pretty tough baddies too. RFOM was no walk in the park thats for sure. So while H3 gets credit for polish I did take points away for its less than epic feel at times. No biggy of course but gotta give credit when it's due and I think many people just right off resistance because its less iconic than Halo.

Cool and I was just playing some SW games. :) Should all keep going well for PS3, I shall have me one at some point and look forward to a little R2& LBP and a few others.
