[QUOTE="angry_fork"]And everyone hates on Sony for showing CGI trailers.dgsagSince when is showing off actual cutscenes not allowed? They should be. Do these CGI trailers really get people hyped? Nothing about them is interesting. Who cares?

[QUOTE="dgsag"][QUOTE="angry_fork"]And everyone hates on Sony for showing CGI trailers.angry_forkSince when is showing off actual cutscenes not allowed? Didn't say it wasn't, just hypocritical that everyone is like oh this looks great the game looks great and it's just a CGI trailer how can you tell the game looks good from a CGI trailer. While if Sony put up a trailer like this for their games everyone would be like SONY AT IT AGAIN WAA WAA CGI TRAILER. Like someone said earlier, at least Ubi didn't say it's real gameplay footage, like some other company we know.
Hobo Sam was way more badass with that epic beard. This Sam is boring.AAllxxjjnnHell yeah. I think he looks generic now :(.
I really hope they just make a normal Splinter Cell game and stop trying to do something silly or 'new' which nobody wants. Chaos Theory was a masterpiece, and then they tried to be different with the whole 'double agent' thing, and pretending to be a bad guy and getting people to be your friend. All i want to do is sneak around scary places dropping security guards. :PNinja-Hippo
Nope, they're going to make you do more mini-games this time around. Instead of assembling ten land mines, you have to rescue innocent civialians on the street being harrased by security guards!

[QUOTE="tirralirra"]Both videos are rubbish, I want to see in-game footage. I wonder if SC can top MGSdgsagGameplay-wise, the Splinter Cell series has always topped MGS in terms of stealth elements, at least up until MGS4. I've always thought that too. In MGS, it's pretty easy to not be seen. You have to be very patient and careful in splinter cell.

Lumber Jack Sam looked like he could tear down a freaking tree with his bare hands. This one looks like every other space marine we've seen this gen.

The stealth elements are very technical in SC, but it needs to quicker, which of course cant happen because it would kinda defy the point of the game.
I'm right there with you. I pulled Double Agent off the shelf to celebrate.where are the 3 eyed goggles!!!?!?!???!! anyway, i really hope this is better then DA and goes back to the roots of SC games. i might actauly go play DA now, and its only $5 on steam, does anyone know if the pc version is worth it if i already own it?

MGS always had a more interesting story, but it's gameplay mechanics lagged behind Splinter Cell's. That is until MGS 4. The controls were awesome.
