@finalstar2007: 2016 release date? Why are they revealing this at the E3 in 2014 then? Sony is famous for this though. Showing lots of games where many of them are 2-4 years away from release. We want to see games that are 1yrs or less to completion at the E3.

It is an exclusive. Microsoft bought the rights to the franchise. I doubt there will be much to show for Gears if it's coming out in 2016.

What a terrible source of inspiration, unless they mean Omikron: The Nomad Soul, but then again I wouldn't expect current batch of console gamers, with attention span equal to ants, to remember that game.

Your hate towards RTS is pathetic . Can you name one big game on last gen consoles which is not cover based shooter or QTE fest .? Not much , except few mediocre shooters (See , I can do this too) .

RTS are more interesting and worth the price than 5 hours shooting galleries . I'm not even RTS fan , RPGs are my favorite genre and even I play RTS when the game is actually very good like Starcraft 2 , COH , World in Conflict or Total War etc . You don't need to be elitist to play RTS .

I loved how you mentioned PC in your first post . Are you feeling that insecure .? And before you say "I don't like RTS" , keep in mind that there are other people that live in this world too , with different preferences . BTW everything sucks , until it is announced for consoles .

On other hand , RTS is not the only genre on PC , even though we need more RTS (Can't wait for Homeworld Remastered and people are dying for Warcraft 4 announcement) : The Book of Unwritten Tales (adventure) , Witcher (RPG) , Amnesia (Survival Horror) , Civilization V (4X) , Crysis Warhead (Shooter) , Mount and Blade (RTS/RPG hybrid) , Legend of Grimrock (First Person Dungeon Crawler) etc are not RTS and all of them have 8+ average score .
