Least Favorite Gaming Genre and Why?

If System Wars didn't exist, then Genre wars would be dominating forums across the internet.

We all have genres we strongly like and then those that we really hate or just cant get into, even though the genre is loved by millions of others.

So, what is your least favorite gaming genre?

I'd personally have to go with Sports games. I don't really HATE it, but I find that if I have one, I pretty much have them all.I find the improvements through the series not enough to make me want to buy more. I do play sports games at friends houses but I haven't owned a sports game since the PS2 days.

RPG's. Just never really interested me.

However, I do have my eye on Fallout 3.

Fighting games. They take no skill and have no story at all.Ragnarok1051

I'm pretty sure it takes skill but I think that even the most skilled Fighter has those days when he loses to a button masher.

Sim Sports games and Sim Racing games

Sim Sports games because I don't care about sports so I find them boring.

Sim Racing games I just have always found them boring. I rather shoot something with my car then keep trying to get past them.

RTS, its just too impersonal.

Turn-based rpgs are a close second. Thats nowhere near what real combat is like.

Sports. I don't like them in real life, so why should I like them in virtual form?Verge_6

That's a very strange assumption to make. Considering you are here. Anywho sports games are boring, just not as bad as JRPG, I play football and do swimming yet I hate all those FIFA games.
