Legend of Spyro game for 360.. is it better than Spyro 3 on PS1? That is the..

Only spyro game ive played.. I felt nostalgic when I saw Legend of Spyro for 360.. how would the new 360 game compare to the old ps1 games?

No Spyro game after Year of the Dragon is worth playing. Once Insomniac sold the rights, it was over. Crying shame too. I play the original trilogy every year or so.

SPYRO and Crash died with PSOne. :(
Ratchet and Jak are where the creator's went.

INSOMNIAC created Spyro, and they make Ratchet and Resistance games for PS3 now, and last gen they made Ratchet games for PS2 last gen. :)

Also, Legend of Spyro : Dawn of the Dragon was on PS3 and 360.

I agree completely. The games did everything right. The only con is that they were a bit too easy imo.

spyro was great but Vivendi Games went and ruined it just like they did with crash bandicoot and any other franchise they get their hands on

Year of the dragon is one of the BEST games EVER made..IMO of course.I loved it soo much,i cant wait to get a U.S card (in 3 months when i'll go to US) and Download it off the PSStore :D! OT: No,Legend of spyro games are quite bad,expect the first one (i..liked it...ABIT) the rest of the 2 were terrible,Spyro 1,Ripto's rage and 3 were the best on PSX..Especailly YoTDRatchet_Fan8

Get all 3 and put them on your PSP.

Na its not better than the PS1 games, although it has amazing graphics. Second only to Kameo when it comes to vibrant and rich lands.

Uh...it's pretty good, but it's more adventure, but I'm sure you'll like it.
Do you only have a 360?

I think Platformers are the one big area/Genre that need to improve on 360.

I could also recommend some Wii and PS3 games you'll like:

Super Mario Galaxy, Ratchet, and LittleBigPlanet come instantly to mind.

Meh, Spyro wasn't really ever the best platformer of it's time, and since the PS1 it's gotten way worse.

It's not even worth buying Spyro games anymore. He's gone the way of Sonic, and such.

The first 3 Spyro games were not the best platformers ever and thats true but all 3 of them were very good efforts. Now though they just suck. I just wish Insominiac was still creating them.

Best 3D platformers? No. Great then and now? Yes.

For the record: GS scores - Spyro 1 8.3, Spyro 2 8.6, Spyro 3 8.4.
